Wild Bloom ep 20 recap/spoilers

Episode 20 recap: Xu Ban Xia was left stranded in the snowy forest by Wang Da Sheng.

Gao Xin Yi believed that her actions were for the better development of the team, but Tong Xiao Qi didn't support her. He felt that she had no right to interfere in his affairs, especially since even Xu Ban Xia hadn't managed their team before. Seeing her efforts being dismissed by Tong Xiao Qi, and him seemingly forgetting their past struggles, Gao Xin Yi felt sad and shed tears. However, she quickly wiped them away and decided to break up with Tong Xiao Qi.

Tong Xiao Qi felt hurt inside but remained stubborn. He followed her to the window and told her that if she wanted to break up, then they should break up and that she shouldn't have any regrets. Gao Xin Yi had initially hoped that Tong Xiao Qi would try to stop her, but hearing those piercing words, she left without looking back.

Xu Ban Xia needed to buy equipment for the steel mill, so Jia Shu contacted the key personnel at the factory and asked them to provide Xu Ban Xia with their drawings. He also explained to Xu Ban Xia which equipment in the factory was meaningful and worth keeping, hoping that she could transport them back. Chen Yu Zhou and Zhou Qian planned a trip together and were looking at pictures of the Maldives, excited to visit there.

Suddenly, Xu Ban Xia called Chen Yu Zhou. She rambled on about various things, which made Chen Yu Zhou suspect that she had something important to say. So he decided to be frank and confessed that they both knew he didn't have much time left and that he was aware of Zhou Qian's arrangement as a fake partner. However, Chen Yu Zhou had come to a realization that his own happiness was the most important thing, and he would make the most of the time he had left.

Upon hearing this, Xu Ban Xia felt a mix of relief and sadness. Chen Yu Zhou was not only her childhood friend, but they were also closer than siblings. She couldn't help but mourn the fact that his time was running out. Xu Ban Xia had originally planned to return with Zhao Lei in a couple of days, but now she had a new idea. She wanted to stay a few more days and see if those who had an emotional connection to the steel mill were willing to join her. Additionally, she wanted to try and negotiate some compensation from Wang Da Sheng for everyone.

Wang Da Sheng, seeing that Xu Ban Xia hadn't left as promised, invited her to go hunting in the mountains. Xu Ban Xia had no experience in hunting or shooting guns, so she accidentally fired a shot, startling Wang Da Sheng. He quickly unloaded the bullet and handed the gun to Xu Ban Xia. Wang Da Sheng had indeed provided water and electricity to some of the factory workers, as Xu Ban Xia had requested. However, some of the workers had filed complaints against him again, and Xu Ban Xia wanted to push for more compensation from Wang Da Sheng. This angered Wang Da Sheng, who ordered his men to get on the car and left Xu Ban Xia behind.

Xu Ban Xia desperately chased after the car but couldn't catch up. She took out her phone to make a call but had no signal. Left with no choice, she shouldered the gun and trudged through the snow in search of a signal. After a long struggle, she finally found a signal, but she was exhausted and out of breath.

Zhao Lei was busy when the phone suddenly rang. The signal wasn't very good where Xu Ban Xia was, and Zhao Lei grew anxious upon hearing that she had been left in the forest by Wang Da Sheng. He wanted to clarify the situation, but Xu Ban Xia's phone was out of battery.

In the forest, four gunshots rang out, and Xu Ban Xia finally managed to get into Wang Da Sheng's car. By that time, she was completely disheveled. Wang Da Sheng made a cryptic remark about wild boars causing trouble and getting shot. Tong Xiao Qi regretted his actions and went to the finance department to reconcile with Gao Xin Yi.

Gao Xin Yi also missed him, and her eyes would involuntarily steal glances at him. Chen Yu Zhou tried to mediate and suggested going out to eat together. Gao Xin Yi and Tong Xiao Qi simultaneously asked, "What are we eating?" Gao Xin Yi felt a bit annoyed and made an excuse not to go.

At the dinner table, Chen Yu Zhou tried to persuade Tong Xiao Qi by reminding him of the days he spent in the hospital and how Gao Xin Yi stayed by his side night after night, enduring the hardships and becoming unrecognizable, all to support their team.

Chen Yu Zhou was envious of Tong Xiao Qi back then, having a girl who treated him so well. This remark made Tong Xiao Qi happy, and a smile appeared on his face. Xu Ban Xia didn't leave, which delighted the steel mill workers. When she asked if anyone had secretly filed another lawsuit against Wang Da Sheng, someone in the crowd shamefully lowered their head.

Xu Ban Xia extended an olive branch to these workers, inviting them to work at her own factory in the south. Jia Shu, representing the whole family, agreed to Xu Ban Xia's invitation, and the other workers were also willing. On the day of the move, Wang Da Sheng sent a letter through someone, expressing his apologies to everyone and bringing closure to the grievances between him and the steel mill workers.

To arrange accommodation for the people Xu Ban Xia was bringing back, Chen Yu Zhou joined everyone in working hard to move things. Tong Xiao Qi knew that Chen Yu Zhou was not in good health and advised him not to overexert himself, but Chen Yu Zhou enjoyed working together with everyone and couldn't be dissuaded by anyone.
