Episode 22 recap: Mu Xing was killed.

During the night, Ye Wenjie's organization was attacked by the Battle Command Center in multiple branches across Europe. The attacked were all members of the Salvationists, while the Adventists remained unharmed. Although it was the action of the Battle Command Center, they suspected that Pan Han was behind it, and Shen Yu Fei's death was also intricately linked to these people.

One of her subordinates kindly reminded the commander not to attend Shen Yu Fei's funeral, as it would attract the attention of those behind the scenes. But at this moment, Ye Wenjie couldn't care about that anymore. She was determined to personally bid farewell to Shen Yu Fei at the funeral. Wang Miao sat on a bench, constantly thinking about what happened before Shen Yu Fei's death. She had always wanted to solve the Three-Body Problem but eventually realized that it was unsolvable. Now, Shi Qiang also understood that Shen Yu Fei wasn't the bad person he had initially imagined. The two of them also learned about the global cleansing of many Earth-Trisolaris organizations that happened the night before. Wang Miao planned to go back and continue playing the Three-Body game, wanting to see if the game would have a different progression.

And so, Wang Miao returned to the Three-Body game once again. The sandstorms were intense, and everything around was pitch-black. He quickly appeared before the crowd as Copernicus. The situation here was different from before. Everything had disappeared—no pyramids, no United Nations building, not even the giant pendulum. There were billions of people below, and everyone in the Three-Body game was gathered there. Three rounds of civilization had passed, and Wang Miao had never seen anything like it.

On one side of the formation, there were more than 30 stars, and the total count in the array was over 1,000. They didn't look like stars but rather like artificial constructs. This was the magnificent Trisolaran Interstellar Fleet, preparing to set sail for an expedition. After that, everyone around became restless. They didn't want to leave because it was their hope. Although they wouldn't witness the outcome in their lifetime, their descendants would receive news from the new world in four or five hundred years. It would be the rebirth of Trisolaran civilization, and the journey of Trisolaran civilization to the world had begun. The destination was Earth. Wang Miao, upon learning the situation, couldn't understand what the other side was trying to achieve with all these circumstances.

The key figures in the global battle zones regarded this operation as the most inspiring thing, an unprecedented victory. As people around applauded and agreed, Chang Wei Si next to them didn't see it that way. He believed that the revolution had not yet succeeded, and comrades still needed to strive.

Chang Wei Si's analysis quickly revealed that the majority of people playing the Three-Body game belonged to the Salvationists, advocating for solving the Three-Body Problem. Shen Yu Fei was also part of the Salvationists, while there was another faction, the Adventists, who believed in the imminent arrival of the Trisolarans and advocated for the destruction of humanity. There was also a faction called the Survivors who believed that the Trisolarans might spare them. They were optimistic, but the first two factions looked down on them. So far, Chang Wei Si and others had not discovered any connection between them and the so-called "Lord." Within these factions, they referred to a leader figure as the Commander.

Shi Qiang later sought out Mu Xing, who had been collaborating with him. He also realized that Pan Han was a dangerous individual and warned Mu Xing to leave the area quickly. However, Mu Xing showed no fear. But at this moment, neither Shi Qiang nor the Battle Command Center could protect her safety.

After returning, Shi Qiang looked at the information and became more convinced that Pan Han intentionally leaked it to Mu Xing for everyone to discover. However, Mu Xing did not stop and investigate as Shi Qiang had suggested. Wang Miao directly handcuffed Mu Xing inside the car.

Mu Xing now just wanted to wrap up everything before disappearing. When she went to the library to reinvestigate the previous events, she noticed an unidentified person following her. Mu Xing quickly realized it, but it was already too late. Later, Shi Qiang received the news of Mu Xing's brutal murder. He rushed to the scene and found that the recording device had disappeared into thin air. However, based on his understanding of Mu Xing, Shi Qiang sensed that she wouldn't have only carried one recording device.

After dealing with the case, Shi Qiang found himself alone at the location where Mu Xing had invited him for coffee earlier. As he tasted the coffee in his cup, he found it very bitter. Shi Qiang was determined to uncover the mastermind behind Mu Xing's death. He quickly picked up on some clues, which coincidentally led him to Ye Wenjie. This deepened his suspicion of her, and through further investigation, he traced the killer of Mu Xing to Chen Xue.
