Episode 13 recap: Min Hui drove Xin Qi away.
Cao Mu went to the swimming pool and saw Chen Jia Jun hastily performing ballet movements in the pool. There was a banner next to him, asking Cao Mu to be his girlfriend. Min Hui and Xin Qi waited together for news. Xin Qi received a phone call, and Ang Ji's shareholders had agreed to invest in the project.
Min Hui was also very happy after hearing the news and asked Xin Qi if he had time. He invited Xin Qi to have dinner the day after tomorrow, and Xin Qi said he would bring Quan Quan along. Chen Jia Jun said he had read a lot of confession strategies online, but none of them suited him. His best skill was swimming, so he learned a few moves from someone, but he didn't expect it to be so cheesy.

Xin Qi felt like something was missing. Should he give Min Hui a gift? Xin Qi took the shirt and went to a cosmetics store to ask the shop assistant if they had a lipstick in that color and requested ten of them. Min Hui came to find Cao Mu and said she was in the elevator. There was a creepy man touching a woman in the elevator. Chen Jia Jun grabbed the man, but he denied it. Min Hui saw it and said there were surveillance cameras here. They could check the footage to find out the truth and call the police now.
The police came and took the man away. They also asked the woman to make a statement. Min Hui told the woman not to be afraid and to report such incidents to the police and trust them. Cao Mu also came down, and Min Hui then realized that Chen Jia Jun was Cao Mu's boyfriend.
Chen Jia Jun went to order drinks, and Min Hui expressed that she was relieved after seeing Chen Jia Jun's performance just now. She thought Cao Mu had a good eye this time. Min Hui, along with Quan Quan and Xin Qi, had dinner together. Xin Qi gave the lipstick to Min Hui, and she asked Xin Qi how he knew her shade. She remembered what happened in the fitting room earlier and understood.
Yao Zi Zhu called Zhou Ru Ji out and asked if he was together with the girl he liked. Zhou Ru Ji said no. Yao Zi Zhu said that if they were together, she wouldn't bother him, but since they weren't, she would compete fairly.
Zhou Ru Ji felt that Yao Zi Zhu didn't need to waste her time on him. Yao Zi Zhu asked if Zhou Ru Ji could do the same if the girl said the same to him. Zhou Ru Ji said he couldn't. Yao Zi Zhu said she couldn't either, but at least she tried. Even if Zhou Ru Ji didn't like her, she wouldn't regret it.
Min Hui received a phone call and when she turned around, she couldn't find Quan Quan. She quickly went to look for him with Xin Qi but couldn't find him after searching for a long time. Luckily, Quan Quan remembered Min Hui's phone number and called her, saying that he wanted to buy a gift for her. Min Hui wanted to give Xin Qi a return gift, so she went to the company to find him. However, she found a lawsuit document on Xin Qi's desk. Xin Qi was fighting for custody of Quan Quan.
Ha Di told Xin Qi about the custody battle and said it was the chairman's decision. Xin Qi was angry and told the chairman not to interfere in his affairs. Min Hui took out Xin Qi's things, and Xin Qi asked her to listen to his explanation. Min Hui asked Xin Qi to explain, but he didn't know what to say. Min Hui asked him to explain that his approach to Quan Quan wasn't to gain favor or increase his chances in the lawsuit but wasn't about taking Quan Quan away.
Xin Qi said that at the beginning, he did want to gain favor, but he never intended to take Quan Quan away. Min Hui said she could accept Xin Qi hating her, but no one could take Quan Quan away from her.
