Episode 5 recap: Xin Qi learned that Quan Quan is his son.
Zhou Ru Ji wanted to put a heart monitor on Quan Quan, but he refused, saying that when he wears it, other kids call him a monster and don't want to play with him anymore. Min Hui comforted him, saying that only Iron Man has such a device, and Quan Quan said that adults can't always come up with good reasons to deceive children. Min Hui convinced Quan Quan to wear it and told him he wouldn't have to go to kindergarten today, to which he agreed.
Ha Di asked Xin Qi if he wanted to go to the hospital to see Min Hui's son. He felt that being business partners didn't always require socializing, and Xin Qi could choose not to go. Xin Qi suggested that Ha Di buy some fruits, as it would be inappropriate to visit someone in the hospital empty-handed. Xin Qi happened to see Quan Quan downstairs at the hospital, who said he was worried because his friends didn't want to play with him. Xin Qi drew a Iron Man heart on Quan Quan's chest and told him that he was now a real Iron Man.
Min Hui couldn't find Quan Quan and almost called the police, but Xin Qi brought him back. Quan Quan mentioned seeing a handsome uncle and showed Min Hui the picture he drew. Min Hui received a video sent by Teacher Liu, showing that Quan Quan was welcomed by other kids after he got the Iron Man heart, and Quan Quan was also happy.
Min Hui came to report the data of Mister to Xin Qi and expressed her gratitude for drawing the Iron Man heart for Quan Quan, which made him popular among the other kids. Xin Qi said he had thought carefully about Min Hui's words from yesterday and believed she was right. He considered their past grievances settled and suggested that they go their separate ways in the future. However, Min Hui stated that they were still partners and it would be difficult for them to go their separate ways completely.
Zhou Ru Ji encountered a patient in the emergency room, a girl who insisted that she couldn't have any scars and refused to get stitches no matter what. Zhou Ru Ji approached and examined her, stating that her wound wasn't deep and that stitching it with two stitches wouldn't leave a scar. Zhou Ru Ji informed the doctors in the emergency department that the girl is a dancer and her legs are crucial to her. Xin Qi bought an Iron Man hat and went to the kindergarten to find Quan Quan. The teacher confirmed that Quan Quan knew Xin Qi and allowed him to see him. Xin Qi asked Min Hui why she secretly gave birth to their child, and Min Hui explained that she discovered it when she was already three months pregnant and couldn't bear to let go. Xin Qi asked why she didn't tell him, and Min Hui replied that he hated her so much, so she didn't think he would allow her to keep the child. Min Hui believed that the current situation was fine and asked Xin Qi why he wanted to disrupt it.
Min Hui returned home and discovered that Xin Qi was playing with Quan Quan in their house. Min Hui asked what was going on, and Xin Qi said he wanted to move in and live with them. Xin Qi mentioned that Quan Quan refers to others as his father because he lacks paternal love, which Min Hui cannot provide. Min Hui let Quan Quan make the decision, and Quan Quan was delighted that Xin Qi would stay. Min Hui reluctantly agreed.
Five years ago, when Xin Qi fell ill and was hospitalized, he thought Min Hui had changed her name. He mentioned that she had previously rejected his adoptive parents, which allowed Xin Qi to be adopted, and he owed her for that. Xin Qi expressed his wish for Min Hui to stay and accompany him, and Min Hui agreed.
