This year, the dramas I've been watching are either crime thrillers or historical fantasy. Honestly, my brain feels like it needs a break from all these intense shows and wants to watch something mindless and fun... Just a bunch of good-looking guys and girls in their 20s playing various over-the-top roles of powerful CEOs and supervisors. That's exactly what I need—a brainless, sweet drama! ???

After watching the first episode, the production quality is decent, but I don't like this couple, so I didn't continue watching. Hmm, it's very similar to that previous drama where Wallace Chung and Li Xiaoran reunited. It's because of a misunderstanding that the male and female protagonists meet again, and there's a child involved. The child is not in good health and needs treatment.

Apart from the sudden lapse of judgment by the screenwriter in Episode 17, everything else is great, especially the portrayal of women as independent, beautiful, and strong! Even though it's an idol drama, it still upholds the right values and can provide positive guidance and promotion. The chemistry between Wang Ge and Wang Jie is explosive, they make a fantastic couple!

Stayed up late to finish watching it. Overall, it's okay. The chemistry between the male and female leads is decent. The portrayal of women in this drama is much better compared to typical sweet dramas. The female lead is no longer the type who waits for a man's redemption. The supporting female character also shows a balanced approach in pursuing someone she likes while prioritizing herself.
Moreover, the storyline involving sexual harassment is well done. The female lead's constant struggle and resistance are portrayed, and she takes the initiative to confront the harasser with a punch, which also influences the previously timid Zhong Mei Mei.
Of course, there are certain aspects that shouldn't be deeply analyzed. For example, the continuous emphasis on the absence of a father figure and its impact on child-rearing, which overlooks the female lead's five years of hardships and sacrifices in caring for a child with a heart condition. Additionally, the storyline of having a second and third child ultimately promotes the idea of marriage and childbearing. The fact that the initially adamant female supporting character eventually accepts a marriage proposal indicates the creator's stance…
In summary, it's a drama that is generally enjoyable but occasionally triggers some discomfort. It falls under the category of light-hearted sweet dramas.

It's a supernatural slice-of-life drama with the added charm of idol dramas (specifically in the early episodes). But I have to say, the love story between the second female lead and the third male lead is too cheesy! The supernatural performances of the male and female leads are on point with every emotional reaction they should give. They also have great chemistry together. The male lead's character is really well-crafted, and the actor's own charm adds to it! He portrays the CEO so naturally, authentically, and humorously. I must say, the male lead looks incredibly handsome in suits. He stands tall, has a suitable height, and a well-proportioned figure. Every outfit looks amazing on him. The female lead's character is also well-developed, showcasing a complete and independent woman. This kind of character traits seems like the kind of person I want to become. She handles things on her own, she's beautiful and capable, and incredibly strong. My favorite moments are definitely the scenes with the three of them as a family. They feel so natural and real, as if they exist in real life. There are so many moments where I wish I could live in such a family atmosphere. I could watch a hundred episodes of the daily lives of the male and female leads. I love every late-night heart-to-heart conversation and their reliance on each other. They truly fell in love because of their strong work abilities. They are genuinely happy! I will definitely rewatch this series in the future!

The plot design of this drama had me laughing so hard. Did they really gather all the Mary Sue clichés from early Jinjiang literature to tell this story? Haha, it's like a mishmash of running with the ball, accidental encounters with the father, a domineering CEO with an illness, a pitiful yet talented female lead who is liked by the male supporting characters, childhood friends who reunite, the reconciliation of a broken relationship, and body double tropes, and the list goes on. It's truly an amalgamation of various plot devices.
However, the chemistry between the male and female leads is great, and their on-screen presence is comfortable. Their level of understanding seems even higher compared to their previous collaborations. Sometimes I even wonder if they are really dating because their affection feels so genuine. At first, I felt it lacked something, but the plot became more interesting after the male lead discovered the existence of the child. However, after the two reconciled, it felt a bit lackluster, and the ending had too many frequent intimate moments, yet it didn't feel particularly sweet.
Nevertheless, the male lead's portrayal of the CEO isn't overly greasy, and the female lead doesn't feel awkward. Especially the male lead's small expressions are quite good. It can be considered a passable sweet drama. However, I didn't like the storylines of the second male lead and the third male lead. Chen Xinhai looked handsome when he played Jing Chen, but suddenly he became unattractive here, and his interaction with his sister was mediocre and not likable. The storyline of the doctor couple wasn't impressive either.

During the recovery period, I finished watching this drama. Without questioning why the female lead, despite the male lead accusing her of impersonation, swearing never to see her again, still took risks (genetic heart disease, unmarried pregnancy) and gave birth to the child. She also ignored the male lead's means of testing and discovering that the child is his biological child. Instead, he completely changed his attitude, rejected and tormented the female lead, and shamelessly showed up at her doorstep, asking for food and lodging. Not to mention the fact that the female lead has been working hard to raise a child with her own ideas and now shares her love with a father who suddenly appeared... If we don't consider these things and simply indulge in the sweet and joyful atmosphere created by this drama, it can be seen as a "mindless sweet drama.

All the memes and jokes are quite outdated, and the misunderstandings are all clichés. The story plot doesn't offer anything fresh to see. The only storyline worth watching is the one involving Chen Xinhai, the third male lead. Maybe it's because I viewed him through the lens of my fondness for small fireworks, but despite his bangs covering his face, I surprisingly don't find him too unattractive. Their sibling-like romance is actually decent, and the younger brother is adorable.

The female lead is cool and independent throughout the drama. She faces criticism and accusations head-on without being submissive or needing a domineering CEO-type of protection. The way she handles crises on her own is truly impressive.
The male lead consistently recognizes the challenges and hardships faced by the female lead as a single mother, even during the early stages when he harbored resentment towards her. In the middle of the drama, he loses points due to his flawed thinking regarding the white moonlight issue (he deserved the backlash for pursuing his ex-wife at a funeral). However, his statement of "It's your business whether you need me to protect you, but it's my responsibility to protect you if I can" and his respect for the female lead's choices without excessive interference, along with his role as a reliable support in the background, earns him points.
The balanced state of their relationship is well portrayed, and the actors' subtle emotional expressions are handled well. Of course, there are still many stereotypical situations and unreliable character developments in the plot. The storyline becomes more boring towards the later stages, and the supporting characters have well-crafted personalities, but their romantic storylines feel awkward.

The plot is extremely cliché and outdated. A misunderstanding that could be resolved with a single sentence is dragged out for several episodes or even a dozen episodes. Even the supporting characters' romantic storylines are driven by poor communication. I can't compliment the writing skills of the screenwriter. There are also many bugs in the story caused by forced progression, which affects the viewing experience. However, there are still some commendable aspects, such as the chemistry between the male and female actors, the sense of a compatible couple, without being overly cheesy or awkward, and the ethereal beauty in the makeup and styling. Of course, it's a youthful idol drama that one can dream about, but I hope people don't take it too seriously. In the same circumstances, most people would encounter absolute scumbags.

Female-friendly drama! At the beginning, when the two protagonists were not reconciled, the male lead's repeated lack of trust in the female lead was a bit frustrating to watch. However, it got better after they reconciled. The female characters in the drama are all clear-minded and independent, resilient and brave. Their attitude towards workplace sexual harassment is also commendable. It's a pretty good drama.

The plot isn't that great, and the story setting feels like an old-school Taiwanese drama... However, Xin QiMin Hui feels completely genuine in their portrayal. The family of three is super sweet, and the drama could easily go for 100 episodes!
Min Quan Quan is really adorable. I'll give an extra star for Cui Yi Xin, the child actor.

Does Lin Xi Yue have a brain?
This plot is just too ridiculous. Her reliance is Cheng Qi Rang, but not long ago, Cheng Qi Rang was involved in a scandal with Min Hui. If the male lead hadn't come forward to admit it, the female lead would have let the matter slide, and it would only make people speculate about Cheng Qi Rang. Cheng Qi Rang himself relies on his wife Zheng Yi Ting, and people would just say he's a freeloader, and it wouldn't be surprising if Zheng Yi Ting kicked him out.
So, Lin Xi Yue doesn't have any support anymore!
Is she brainless or something? I really don't understand.
I'm annoyed that the male lead always interrupts others and interferes with what they want to do. The screenwriter could have shown the male lead's concern for the female lead in many other ways, instead of constantly interrupting the female lead's magic to prove that the male lead has powers, okay?
What I want to see is the female lead handling things herself! Not this so-called "rescued" plot!
I want to see the female lead fighting smartly against imaginary things all by herself! Not this shitty plot where she needs the male lead to rescue her.
Even from the promotional videos, I can't understand why the vertical promotional video "From Campus to Workplace" shows the girl's hand placed on top of the boy's hand, instead of the two of them holding hands side by side!
I already felt physically uncomfortable when the male lead blocked the splashing water at the beginning! I just want to see the female lead get splashed!
And then walk out on her own!
Encounter the male lead outside the venue! There are many ways to show the relationship between the male and female leads to the audience, without needing this!
It's not necessary!

I actually didn't quite understand why the male lead was so angry five years ago. He only knew the younger sister for such a short time, and when she grew up and agreed to meet, it should have been just a friendly encounter.
After three months, he had already fallen in love with the female lead, even though he knew she had deceived him. Personally, I don't think it warranted such a strong disgust towards the female lead.

Actually, regarding episodes 17 and 18, although they were frustrating to watch, at first, I thought it would be better if things stayed sweet, if they got together directly. Why did these two episodes have to happen?
But upon careful consideration, these two episodes are really necessary!
1. Xin Qi has resented Min Hui for five years, and what can he do during those five years as he said if he doesn't deceive himself? He doesn't know what kind of emotions he has towards Min Hui from five years ago - is it based on Su Tian, his guilt towards Su Tian, or has he truly fallen in love with the Min Hui who deceived him?
Even when he said such harsh words back then, he would feel disappointed if he didn't see her when he woke up, and he silently picked up the bracelet again. In short, he doesn't even know what he wants.
2. From the moment they reunited, with just a glance, with a subtle expression, they can tell that these two people have deeply loved each other, and they may still have deep feelings for each other, mixed with some complicated emotions.
3. During their interactions, they can't help but draw closer to each other once again because their previous separation was never due to a lack of love.
4. Xin Qi's words will move Min Hui, and she can feel that he truly loves her.
But at this point, both of them are still haunted by what happened five years ago. When watching the drama, I was constantly waiting for when they would fully understand and clarify what happened five years ago.
Otherwise, as they said, five years ago was a thorn, a bomb.
5. So, the role of Chen Jia Jun in episodes 17 and 18 is to make Xin Qi reflect on what kind of emotions he has towards Min Hui, what kind of feelings he has towards Su Tian, and to help him understand what love truly is and how to love.
From the previews, you can see that he says he won't allow anyone to hurt Min Hui anymore, including himself.
That line touched me the most (Xin Qi still knows). He understands that love is no longer just about his own infatuation or two people being overwhelmed by hormones and recklessly getting together. Love involves emotions, responsibility, true protection...
6. Episodes 17 and 18 also elevate the drama. At first, I watched it as a sweet CEO drama, but as I continued watching, I gradually realized why this drama is popular.
It's not just a simple romantic drama. Each character in the drama has their own thoughts, perspectives, and lives.
No one is solely focused on love, dependent on someone else, or unable to live without someone. The characters are distinct and appealing.
For example, Cao Mu emphasizes loving oneself more than loving the other person. Every character is working hard, living their lives, pursuing their own ideals, and building their careers.
Episodes 17 and 18 awaken us to what love is and how to love. For the first time, I stayed up late to watch the drama because this family of three is truly a family of three.
I've watched it repeatedly, without skipping a single frame. So, I wanted to express my simple thoughts and hope that they can be happy in that parallel universe.

Although it's cheesy and awkward, with some logical inconsistencies, it's still acceptable for an idol drama, and it manages to captivate the audience. The script has its ups and downs, but the two actors have done their best to portray their characters as perfectly as possible within their abilities.
They truly are a well-matched pair of actors. There is a lot of chemistry between them, making their interactions in the drama feel more authentic and natural. My favorite scene with Min Hui is right before her surgery, where she's standing outside the door, forcing a smile. In that moment, you can instantly see the struggles and resilience of a single mom. As for Xin Qi, I don't want to label him as just a CEO. He exudes a more relaxed and confident youthful vibe, and he has ample emotional expression when he's with someone close to him. When necessary, he carries a reliable presence. As Wang Zi Qi mentioned in an interview, he is, first and foremost, a person. I look forward to seeing them collaborate in even better scripts, and I wish them a bright future ahead.

So sweet~ And I really love the independent and clear-minded character of the female lead. She knows what she wants from beginning to end. The male lead had some frustrating moments in the middle, but he redeemed himself later, so I forgive him, and he's actually stubborn. The second female lead (best friend of the female lead) is also a career-driven woman with both intelligence and beauty. The best part is that she's a great friend. As for Chen Jia Jun, I liked him in the beginning, but after episode 17, I don't like him anymore. The second male lead, Zhou Ru Ji, has a good personality, a good job, he's gentle, caring, and can even cook. But fortunately, he found his own love interest.

To be honest, there aren't many dramas worth watching. When I saw someone recommending this one, I decided to give it a try. Well, the plot is cliché, and many of the storylines are stuck in the unrealistic tropes of old idol dramas. But since there's nothing else to watch, I can continue watching it.
To be honest, actor Wang Zi Qi did a good job, especially with that little tsundere character. Wang Yu Wen also performed well, although I feel she is more suitable for cute roles rather than playing a high-end talent in research and development. As for that Cao Mu pair, their chemistry is just so awkward.

I also didn't like the third male character; his acting was too exaggerated. However, the female characters, in general, were portrayed very well—confident and independent. After watching past the tenth episode, it became much more enjoyable. The actors' performances are praiseworthy, especially the natural portrayal of the funny and domineering CEO. The female lead's acting was also great, and the child was adorable. I'll give it an extra star.

A warm and sweet romantic drama. The main couple has great chemistry and is very addictive, but the two supporting couples are just average. However, there was a plot development in the middle of the main couple's storyline that wasn't very well executed. Around episode 20, the female lead became convinced that the male lead didn't trust her and decided to break up with him. Later, when they reconciled, this issue was never properly addressed, making the female lead seem inconsistent and conflicting with her character's principles.

One day, I finished watching a drama. Sometimes the plot had bugs, but it didn't matter. It's still a melodramatic story, suitable for finishing in a day. The push and pull between the male and female leads is quite satisfying (although it's the kind where misunderstandings are not explained clearly). This drama made me cry and laugh. The chemistry between the male and female leads is great!

It's hard to evaluate. The male lead's character is poorly developed. He just moved into the female lead's house and acts bossy towards her. He doesn't do anything himself and criticizes the female lead, which is truly nauseating. The child has never seen his father before, and after recognizing him, he acts distant. It's true that having a child is not as good as having a piece of char siu. This drama shouldn't have had a male lead; it would have been better to focus on the female lead's career storyline.

The positioning is that of a rural drama, but even if you watch it without using your brain, it still feels very mediocre. The characterization of the male lead is really lousy, and I don't understand why the female lead, who is wealthy, capable, and has a child, insists on being with this man. I don't see any good qualities in the male lead. It seems like he only loves his son and repeatedly mistrusts the female lead (being painless while becoming a father is great, right?).

The chemistry between the couple is perfect, deepening the destiny between the characters. As "happy enemies" who reunite five years later, they pay the price for a brand new life. The interaction between the main characters has a strong couple chemistry. Both the male and female leads are not driven by romantic fantasies, but rather deepen their love for each other as they discover each other's strengths. Min Quan Quan is incredibly adorable. The real highlight is the later conversation between the male and female leads about workplace sexual harassment. It doesn't present a binary opposition or take a moral high ground; it's objective and heartfelt. This particular dialogue is worth mentioning.

The frustrating trope of "reuniting after breaking up" always attracts me. The tension between the two characters is strong, neither of them fully grasping the other's feelings. The pace is fast, and in just a few episodes, they discover the child's existence. However, I wonder if the reason for their breakup five years ago was really enough to justify it. As soon as they discovered the deception, they immediately cut off all ties. Young people can be quite impulsive, but it also shows that the male lead has indeed become more mature after their reunion. Some of the conflicts and misunderstandings in between are reasonable, but both of them have the ability to communicate and deep down still trust each other, so they resolve them quite quickly.

At the beginning, I was quite critical and disliked the male lead. He seemed boundaryless, always meddling in the female lead's life.
They unravel all misunderstandings and truly move forward in the best direction, ultimately becoming a sweet family of three.
The female lead in this drama has an incredibly, incredibly, incredibly well-crafted character. She's clear-headed, independent, and has strong professional abilities. She's not afraid to love and let go, and she even dares to execute shoulder throws.
Each storyline is well-developed, without any sudden slogan shouting just to increase value. The chemistry between the two actors is palpable, and the child is adorable. The liking is mutual.
