Episode 39 recap: The Final Battle
Nan Chu returned to her home country, and Shen Guang Zong and Xi Gu went to pick her up. They discussed a lot of work-related matters with Nan Chu, but she declined all the offers and expressed her desire to dance in a ballet performance. Liu Ru Yi went to Lushan to see Lin Lu Xiao, who, like Zhao Guo, rode an electric tricycle to pick up Liu Ru Yi.

Zhao Guo hadn't arrived at the scene yet, but Lin Lu Xiao and his team had already extinguished the forest fire. Shao Yi Jiu and Qin Shi Quan joked with Zhao Guo, asking him to accept their farewell gift and cook a big meal for them one last time.
While joking with everyone and preparing to descend the mountain, Zhao Guo suddenly noticed a change in the wind direction. He immediately went to the lookout tower and indeed saw that the fire had reignited on the northern side of Yangjiaoling. The wind was strengthening, and the temperature was rising. He informed Lin Lu Xiao and the others to rush to extinguish the fire.
Nan Chu was shooting a scene near Lushan, and after Shen Guang Zong finished his scenes, he kept urging her to visit the nearby area and meet Lin Lu Xiao. Nan Chu's mind was not focused elsewhere; she only felt that the temperature nearby was high and there was a smell of smoke, which gave her a bad premonition. She suspected it was a forest fire and asked the director to agree to evacuate everyone.
Zhao Guo realized that the fire at Yangjiaoling was intense and had to request support from higher authorities. After receiving the notification, the special operations team rushed to Lushan to fight the fire.
During the evacuation, Nan Chu tried to call for help, but her phone couldn't get through. She could only use a walkie-talkie to try to signal for assistance and see if anyone could hear her plea and know about the forest fire at Yangjiaoling. Lou Ming Ye and his team arrived at the scene, and their assigned task from Meng Guo Hong was to defend the first line of fire and ensure their safe return.
Nan Chu called for help for a long time until she finally heard a response. Lin Lu Xiao received her call, but before she could explain the situation, their vehicle crashed due to the forest fire. Lin Lu Xiao called Nan Chu several times and finally heard her response. He learned that they were safe, but Xi Gu was injured, which relieved him.
Lin Lu Xiao confirmed Nan Chu's location and analyzed the direction of the fire. He instructed Nan Chu and her team not to head towards the highway but to take the small road downhill on the western side. Lin Lu Xiao and Nan Chu reassured each other that they would return safely. Zhao Guo wanted Lin Lu Xiao to send the rescued individuals out first and then go to rescue Nan Chu, while he would continue searching in the mountains. However, Lin Lu Xiao refused.
Lin Lu Xiao stated that Zhao Guo was most familiar with the mountain roads and insisted that Zhao Guo ensure the safety of the personnel and send them out while he would be responsible for searching in the mountains.
