Hou San Jin revealed all these details, and Ma Kui learned that Ma Jian was Hou San Jin's son, and Hou San Jin had secretly come back to see him before. San Tou Qiang was arrested, and Ma Kui's work was coming to an end. They were about to escort San Tou Qiang back, so Ma Kui went out for a stroll in the streets of Shenzhen and bought something to bring back for Ma Jian.
When Ma Kui returned home with his purchases, he accidentally saw Niu Da Li, who was pouring sewage, and learned about Niu Da Li's activities in Shenzhen. Niu Da Li explained his work in Shenzhen and how it was profitable. He planned to save some money and start his own business.
Niu Da Li thanked Ma Kui for his straightforward advice before leaving, and he only asked Ma Kui not to tell Yao Yu Ling about what he was doing. Ma Kui escorted Hou San Jin back and made sure Ma Jian was there to see him from a distance.
