Episode 13 recap: The treasury of Wu Lian Financial was robbed.

Kiko logged into the MASK account to check the database and found the personal information of the victim girl. Surprisingly, the timestamps of Shao Feifei's private photos showed a one-week difference between the time they were taken and the time they were uploaded. By connecting the letters "NRO" mentioned by Fanaan and the conversation with Shao Feifei, Kiko suspected that the person behind Fanaan was NRO. Kiko took the initiative to find NRO and even brought him a bottle of drink. The two of them talked while they were drinking.

Kiko then raised the issues she had discovered one by one. She suspected that NRO was the creator of MASK and his purpose at the amusement park was to help Fanaan find a target. After encountering Shao Feifei, he secretly took her private photos because he had developed feelings for her but didn't immediately upload them. Later, NRO realized that Shao Feifei didn't reciprocate his feelings, so he decided to upload her photos.

After Shao Feifei sought refuge with him, she discovered her own private photos on NRO's computer and realized that NRO was the mastermind behind her downfall. NRO admitted that he was the creator of MASK and offered to save Shao Feifei from her misery if she agreed to marry him. However, after Shao Feifei rejected his proposal, he became furious and killed her. As Kiko narrated the story, NRO developed a murderous intent towards her. After Kiko finished speaking, he pulled out a dagger, but suddenly felt dizzy and weak, and collapsed to the ground.

After NRO faced justice, Kiko was chatting with her mother when she received a message asking her to go to New York to assist with the investigation, along with a tempting reward.

Kiko arrived in New York and encountered Tang Ren and Qin Feng there. They worked together and successfully solved the case. After concluding the case in New York, Tang Ren and Qin Feng discovered that there was another reward offered in Tokyo. Excitedly, they hurried there, but Qin Feng was tricked and arrested by a Japanese man named Murata Akira. Kiko transformed into a detective and eventually proved that Murata Akira committed suicide, clearing Qin Feng's name.

After Qin Feng was released, he wanted to express his gratitude to Kiko. However, Kiko only acknowledged their professional relationship and refused to be friends with him. She even declined his invitation for a meal. Instead, she boarded a plane and returned home. When she arrived home, Lin Yingshu suddenly appeared at her door with flowers. Kiko thought he needed her help with something, but Lin Yingshu smiled and told her that he came to see her mother, Wang Yunjiao. Seeing their intimacy, Kiko realized that during her absence, Lin Yingshu and her mother had become involved.

The police station was selecting a new chief. Since the case involving Shao Feifei was solved, Lin Yingshu assumed that his son would be appointed to the position. He visited Wang Yunjiao's house to invite her to the inauguration ceremony. However, to his surprise, the new chief turned out to be a woman named Qiao Shanshan. Li Can quietly informed Lin Yingshu that Qiao Shanshan's father was Qiao Qingshan, the CEO of Wipay.

A janitor with a stiff facial expression and neck visited Qiao Qingshan's office, and Qiao Qingshan didn't mind his appearance. Instead, she provided him with a set of clothes. Kiko's best friend contacted her and delivered a major news: Wu Lian Financial had been hacked, and a large amount of money from the treasury was swiped. The stolen money ended up in an account belonging to Wipay. Kiko felt that only she and another person could have done it. The mention of the other person reminded her of a masked individual with whom she had previously collaborated. The masked person claimed to be a survivor.

Kiko's friend also informed her that in a couple of days, it would be the 20th anniversary of Wipay's establishment. She asked if Kiko was interested in attending and once again tempted her with a reward to investigate the theft from the treasury. Initially, Kiko didn't want to get involved, but because the morning tea shop her mother operated was struggling, she changed her mind to help her mother overcome the difficulties. Thus, she agreed to her friend's request.
