Episode 8 recap: Xiao Cha is an accomplice in the murder of Na Wen.

After the secret technique made a rumbling sound, Lin Mo quietly entered his room and unexpectedly discovered that Ouyi had collected many women's items. When Sasha returned from the meditation session and saw the items Lin Mo brought back, she realized that Ouyi was actually a sexual predator. He used the guise of preaching and had harmed countless women, but these things couldn't be used as evidence to convict Ouyi.

Lin Mo speculated that Xiao Cha was also a victim and made Tom Yum soup in the hope of awakening Huang Po's conscience. When she still refused to speak, Lin Mo decided to take a risky move. He went to the meditation session and exposed Ouyi as a sexual predator in front of everyone, revealing his indiscriminate killings. Ouyi indeed harbored murderous intent towards Lin Mo.

Upon returning home, Xiao Cha handed Lin Mo a cup of tea. Just as Lin Mo was about to drink it, Xiao Cha suddenly told him not to drink and knocked the cup to the ground. Then she turned around and ran out. However, even so, Lin Mo still experienced hallucinations. A woman in red walked in, followed by a group of people wearing raincoats and holding daggers. They were about to attack Lin Mo when Jie Ke Jia, the most capable police officer, suddenly appeared and knocked them down with just a few punches and kicks.

Lin Mo had another dream where he saw the people from the meditation session coming at him with knives. Just at that moment, Sasha slapped him awake. When Lin Mo opened his eyes, he realized he was lying in the hospital. Because he had taken risks, Sasha was very angry. Sasha had developed feelings for Lin Mo, which was why she cared about him. She was about to express her feelings when Jie Ke Jia suddenly walked over. Sasha had to swallow her words and then told Lin Mo that Ah Xin was not among the group of people trying to assassinate him.

Du Lang took his men to the meditation session, but to their surprise, Ah Xin had brought a senator there, and they returned empty-handed. Lin Mo assured Sasha not to worry because they now had the key. Once they unlocked it, the culprits would not be able to escape the law.

Lin Mo is going to unlock that lock and asks Sasha to keep an eye on Ah Xin and Ouyi. Sasha returns to the police station and sees Du Lang sulking because of his relationship with the senator, resulting in a severe scolding from the chief.

Sasha tells Du Lang about Lin Mo's words, and just then, someone comes to report that Ah Xin and Ouyi have gone to the airport and are in a rage. Du Lang, in his anger, gathers his subordinates to stop the two from leaving. Ah Xin and Ouyi, carrying their suitcases, are waiting for security check when Du Lang's men surround them. Ah Xin warns Du Lang that they are attending an important international seminar, and if Du Lang dares to obstruct them, the senator will make sure he pays for it. This strikes a chord with Du Lang, so he tells Ah Xin that he suspects there are prohibited items hidden in their luggage. He claims that even if the president were to come today, he would conduct a thorough inspection. He orders his men to start the search slowly and with great care.

Du Lang says this because Sasha asked him to buy some time, and he nervously asks Sasha when Lin Mo will actually obtain the evidence. Lin Mo goes to interrogate Xiao Cha, and he already knows her situation. Na Wen's wife died in a car accident caused by drunk driving, and in Xiao Cha's eyes, her father is the one who killed her mother. He only knows how to drink all day long and never cares about her. Once, when she got into a fight with a classmate, her father didn't bother to ask for the details and just slapped her. The relationship between father and daughter has always been strained. After school, Xiao Cha would rather go to Huang Po's place than go home.

Under Huang Po's guidance, Xiao Cha joined the meditation session. When Na Wen learned about this, he tried to persuade his daughter to stay away from that place, but Xiao Cha wouldn't listen to him. Just at that moment, Namo sought Na Wen's help, and as a result, Na Wen obtained the criminal evidence of the meditation session. He planned to use it as leverage to force the meditation session to let Xiao Cha go. However, it unexpectedly brought disaster upon him. Xiao Cha made him drink the breath of a demon and opened the door to their home.
