Episode 20 recap: Cherie's Transformation into a Food Blogger

In episode 20, Cherie returns from a business trip and immediately goes to pick up Aiven from preschool. Quan is surprised to see this, and Aiven clings to his mother, so Quan ends up following them as Cherie's "assistant." In the evening, Quan updates Cherie on Aiven's progress, but Cherie is concerned that the child is too tired, while Quan insists on his own teaching methods. On the other hand, Jian comes home late, and Qiaoquiao proposes that she wants to find a job. Jian is initially against it, but eventually reluctantly agrees.

Aiven is about to start elementary school, and Quan originally planned to send him to Jingren Elementary. However, due to a policy change, they now have to enter a lottery for school placement, which upsets Quan since he had put a lot of thought into this. Quan's father also mockingly criticizes the situation, making Quan feel even worse. Seeing this, Cherie comforts Quan and decides to accompany him to the school on Monday, which makes Quan feel a little better.
