In Episode 31, Che Li received the news of her divorce from Zhou Quan, which surprisingly left Zhou Aiwen unusually calm. Without tears or commotion, he simply shut himself in his room, a tranquility that deeply worried Che Li. Before leaving, Zhou Quan sought out Zhou Aiwen for a heartfelt conversation, gently reassuring him, and reminding him to stay strong, take care of Che Li, and not forget to change the water in the family's pet turtle's tank regularly.

Their farewell, though tinged with tears, also conveyed a sense of hope for the future. Zhou Quan, suitcase in hand, stepped out the door, glancing back repeatedly, his mixed feelings of reluctance and resolve palpable. Che Li watched his retreating figure, her heart in turmoil. Meanwhile, late at night, Zhou Aiwen placed an urgent call to his grandmother in Hainan, seeking strength and solace from his family.

Back home, the outdated alarm clock chimed inopportunely, and Che Li struggled to silence it. With treatment, Zhou Aiwen's condition gradually stabilized.
