Plot Synopsis

"My Wife's Double Life" is adapted from the highlypopular novel "The Thief's Wife" by the renowned author Yan Nong on the Jinjiang Literature City website. The story revolves around Liu Rong, the legendary and enigmatic thief known as "Willow Leaf Thief," who is accidentally married into the Xu family and embarks on a thrilling game of cat and mouse with Xu Mu Chen, the "Iron-Faced Yama." Through their witty duels and constant clashes, the two transform from a nominal couple into righteouspartners who fight for justice.

Liu Rong, the mysterious "Willow Leaf Thief" who is rumored to haunt the capital, was saved by Su Guo Gong during a flood in the south thirteen years ago. To repay her debt of gratitude, Liu Rong marries Xu Mu Chen under the guise of Su Guo Gong's daughter, "Su Jin Zhen." Bothparties have no feelings for this "marriage of convenience." While Liu Rong appears to be a gentle and considerate Xu Fu Ren, she secretly operates as the notorious "Willow Leaf Thief," stealing from the rich and giving to thepoor.
