Episode 10 recap: Huo Xing Chen defeats Jiang Bu Ting.
Mu Bing He sees Huo Xing Chen training under the scorching sun and worries that he won't be able to handle it. He runs to Huo Qing Liu and asks him to intervene, but Huo Qing Liu believes it's not a bad thing. In order to prevent Mu Bing He from meddling further, he deliberately assigns the task of dealing with the mutants to him. Mu Bing He returns home, and his sister Yao Guang eagerly asks if he found Quan Xia (the hero). Mu Bing He didn't even look for him, but to comfort his sister, he lies and says he searched for a long time but couldn't find him.
Mu Bing He also tells Yao Guang that many martial artists in the Jianghu have been captured, and if Quan Xia is among them, he might have become a mutant. However, Yao Guang doesn't believe it. She gets knocked down repeatedly but keeps getting back up. Seeing the scars on Huo Xing Chen's body, everyone sympathizes with her. Through the training of the past few days, Huo Xing Chen's attacks have become noticeably fierce, and her strike lands directly on Jiang Bu Ting's chest. Jiang Bu Ting is nearly breathless from the blow and has no choice but to admit defeat.
Jiang Bu Ting was willing to accept his loss in the bet and decided to take Huo Xing Chen to wander the Jianghu (martial arts world). Huo Qing Liu watched his daughter leave with Jiang Bu Ting, unable to hold back his tears. Jian Wa, standing beside him, asked him with some confusion if he was really at ease letting his sister go with that man into the dangerous Jianghu. Huo Qing Liu sighed and replied that he felt Jiang Bu Ting, despite his rough appearance, had a meticulous side and could be entrusted with his sister's safety. Furthermore, he mentioned that the Five Peaks Sect was no longer a safe place. At this point, he revealed the incident of finding the token of the Five Peaks Sect at Medicine King Village, realizing that there must be a traitor among them. Jian Wa understood from his uncle's words that Huo Qing Liu had approved of Jiang Bu Ting, so he muttered to himself that it seemed his sister was going to change her future brother-in-law.
Upon receiving the mission, Mu Bing He first ordered the blockade of Medicine King Village. Regarding the discovery of the anomalies, he didn't follow Old Huo's orders to capture them and instead chose to kill them. In a village called Qing Feng Zhai, a woman named Xiao Yu was cooking when she suddenly heard some commotion outside. Curiously, she went out to check and found her husband, Chen Ji, returning. Seeing her husband covered in dirt, she was about to pull him inside to clean up when Chen Ji hugged her. However, he remained conscious and didn't harm Xiao Yu.
Jiang Bu Ying learned that there were zombies in Qing Feng Zhai and used sign language to report it to Jiang Bu Ting. However, even so, Huo Xing Chen couldn't be fooled. On their way to Qing Feng Zhai, they unexpectedly encountered Yao Guang, who was disguised as a man. Yao Guang ran over to meet Huo Xing Chen upon seeing him and expressed her love for him. Jiang Bu Ying didn't know that Yao Guang was a woman and, upon seeing Huo Xing Chen taking her to his room, thought that Huo Xing Chen was going to cuckold his brother. He then told Jiang Bu Ting about this news, pretending not to care but feeling jealous inside.
Jiang Bu Ting wanted to investigate the situation in Qing Feng Zhai, and Huo Xing Chen insisted on going with him. After arriving at Qing Feng Zhai, they were accidentally discovered by the guards. In their escape, they took a random path and ended up hiding in a cabinet in Hao Dai Fu's house. In close proximity, Jiang Bu Ting suddenly had the impulse to kiss Huo Xing Chen. The guards came to search, but Hao Dai Fu, knowing they were hiding there, not only didn't expose them but also helped drive away the guards. Upon learning that they were from the Five Peaks Sect, Hao Dai Fu sighed and said that the sect had fallen, imprisoning the anomalies with ulterior motives.
After leaving Hao Dai Fu's house, they were chased by the guards again. Huo Xing Chen noticed a secret passage in a well and jumped in with Jiang Bu Ting. Unexpectedly, Jiang Bu Ting couldn't swim, and the little water in the well made him faint. Huo Xing Chen tested Jiang Bu Ting's breath and found that he was still breathing. He stooped down and decided to perform CPR on him.
