Episode 11 recap: The Secret of Yinling Valley
Jiang Bu Ting opens his eyes and sees Huo Xing Chen leaning in to kiss him. He quickly rolls away, asking her not to take liberties with him and setting some ground rules. Huo Xing Chen, looking at this stubborn person, makes it clear to him that since the incident happened, she will naturally take responsibility for it. She intentionally asks Jiang Bu Ting if he wanted to kiss her in Dr. Hao's cabinet. Jiang Bu Ting is contemplating whether to tell the truth when suddenly, Huo Xing Chen kisses him. Caught off guard, Jiang Bu Ting stands there dumbfounded. Seeing his dazed expression, Huo Xing Chen playfully kisses him a few more times. In the end, Jiang Bu Ting can't resist and tightly embraces Huo Xing Chen.
After they return, Huo Xing Chen notices Yao Guang's admiration for her and to prevent her from falling too deeply, Huo Xing Chen removes her fake beard and confesses her true identity as a woman. However, even so, Yao Guang's admiration for her remains undiminished.
Mu Bing He receives news that Yuniang's husband has turned into Mu Bing He, so he rushes over with his men, but it turns out to be a false alarm. Later, he learns that his sister went to Xiyin Village and intends to go find her. However, by the time he arrives, Yao Guang has already left with Huo Xing Chen. Jiang Bu Ying also hears a piece of information that mutants have been discovered in Yinling Valley. Jiang Bu Ting decides to go and investigate. Jiang Bu Ting feels extremely annoyed by the presence of Yao Guang disguised as a bearded man, always being with Huo Xing Chen. Therefore, during the team's operation, he arranges for himself and Jiang Bu Ying to be in the same group.
Huo Xing Chen and Jiang Bu Ting walked into a forest together. Huo Xing Chen wanted to hold Jiang Bu Ting's hand, but he rejected her. So she found a stick and asked him to hold it instead. Jiang Bu Ting held the stick and walked forward, but he noticed something ahead and wanted to turn back and tell Huo Xing Chen. However, he realized that Huo Xing Chen had disappeared. Huo Xing Chen was kidnapped by a person wearing black clothes named Yin Feng Mian, who was the Young Valley Master of the Hidden Spirit Valley. He knew that Huo Xing Chen had transformed into an anomaly before and miraculously recovered. The reason he kidnapped Huo Xing Chen was to find out the cause behind it.
After kidnapping Huo Xing Chen, Yin Feng Mian brought her to a captive anomaly and forced her to hand over the antidote. Otherwise, he threatened to kill her. Huo Xing Chen, having experienced many martial arts events, wasn't afraid. She was thinking of a way to escape when Jiang Bu Ting found her. The place where Yin Feng Mian imprisoned the anomalies was a hidden room with a fenced enclosure. When Jiang Bu Ting arrived, he didn't know where the switch to open the room was, so he couldn't enter.
Huo Xing Chen approached the fence, pretended to argue with Jiang Bu Ting, and asked him to untie her bindings. Then she started fighting Yin Feng Mian, but she was no match for him. Seeing Huo Xing Chen in danger, Jiang Bu Ting anxiously moved things around outside the door, triggering a hidden weapon mechanism inside. Although Huo Xing Chen wasn't skilled in martial arts, her lightness technique was top-notch. She successfully evaded the hidden weapons and used them to injure Yin Feng Mian.
After capturing Yin Feng Mian, he told Jiang Bu Ting that he had no ill intentions when he kidnapped Huo Xing Chen. He just wanted to figure something out. The Gu Zhu of the Hidden Spirit Valley had acquired a batch of elixirs from somewhere. After consuming these elixirs, their martial arts abilities greatly increased, but their temperament changed as well. His younger brother had taken one of these elixirs, and he suspected that this elixir and the poison that turned people into anomalies were related. Therefore, he wanted to find out how Huo Xing Chen was cured after becoming an anomaly. When he learned that Jiang Bu Ting wanted to go to the Hidden Spirit Valley, he volunteered to guide them.
Led by Yin Feng Mian, Jiang Bu Ting and Huo Xing Chen successfully entered the Hidden Spirit Valley. The valley was filled with traps and mechanisms, and Yin Feng Mian walked ahead, reminding them to follow his steps closely. After the Gu Zhu of the Hidden Spirit Valley discovered their presence, he immediately ordered their execution. Seeing so many people in black chasing after them, Huo Xing Chen doubted whether Yin Feng Mian was truly the Young Valley Master. Yin Feng Mian sighed and told her that according to the rules of the Hidden Spirit Valley, the position of the Young Valley Master had always been held by someone with capability.
