Episode 16 recap: Mu Bing He admitted that he is Fork Hero.
Jiang Bu Ting and Huo Xing Chen, along with their group of four, continued their journey. When they were about to take a boat, Yao Guang suddenly claimed that she gets seasick. Upon hearing Yao Guang's words, Jiang Bu Ying also pretended to feel seasick. Jiang Bu Ting thought that Jiang Bu Ying wanted to create an opportunity for him and Huo Xing Chen to be alone, so he suggested accompanying Yao Guang on the land route while he and Huo Xing Chen continued by boat.
Jiang Bu Ying spent a whole day accompanying Yao Guang. Seeing that she limped while walking, he knew that her feet must have blistered, so he offered to help her treat the blisters. When he saw Yao Guang evading him and even intentionally activating his acupoints, Jiang Bu Ying was surprised to find that Yao Guang's feet were incredibly small, almost the size of his palm.

Huo Xing Chen turned her head and saw the familiar mask. Her heart raced with excitement. The person who saved her just now was the Fork Hero. When they reached a safe place, the Fork Hero put Huo Xing Chen down and was about to leave. However, Huo Xing Chen suddenly held onto his leg and pulled him back. Caught off guard, the Fork Hero fell to the ground. When he got up, his mask fell off, and Huo Xing Chen was astonished to see that the face beneath the mask was Mu Bing He's.
Huo Xing Chen thought that Mu Bing He was joking with her, but Mu Bing He told her that he is indeed the Fork Hero. When Huo Xing Chen was young, the Fork Hero saved her, and in order to meet him again in the future, she gave him her jade pendant.
To prove his words, Mu Bing He took out the Chenzu Jade Pendant that Huo Xing Chen had given to the Fork Hero. Seeing the pendant, Huo Xing Chen started to believe him to some extent, but she still felt puzzled. Initially, she and the Fork Hero had agreed to roam the rivers and lakes together, but Mu Bing He always opposed her going out. Mu Bing He explained that it was because he cared about her and didn't want anything to happen to her, as he already considered her as his family.
Huo Xing Chen asked Mu Bing He why he wore that mask. Mu Bing He explained to her that firstly, his family didn't want him to meddle in other people's affairs, and secondly, he was afraid of causing trouble and bringing trouble to his family. Wearing the mask made it much more convenient for him to act. He also revealed to Huo Xing Chen that on the day of the Huo family's martial arts competition for marriage, he intentionally took her jade pendant on stage, but Huo Xing Chen didn't pay attention to it at the time. While they were talking, they suddenly heard Jiang Bu Ting's voice from a distance. Mu Bing He didn't want to meet Jiang Bu Ting at that moment, so he swiftly left.
After Jiang Bu Ting arrived, Huo Xing Chen quickly approached him and hugged him excitedly. Jiang Bu Ting was puzzled by her excited state, but when he saw the mask in her hand, he understood the reason for her joy. Since the place they were in was very close to his uncle's house, Jiang Bu Ting decided to take Huo Xing Chen to visit his uncle.
