Episode 17 recap: The Mysterious Huai Shu Town.

Jiang Bu Ying was tired and saw a pond ahead. He took off his clothes and went in for a bath, inviting Yao Guang to join him. However, Yao Guang covered her face with clothes and said not to look at her indecently. Yao Guang was tired and hungry, so Jiang Bu Ying took out a steamed bun from his pocket. She happily took the bun, but while eating it, she worried that Jiang Bu Ying's sweat might contaminate the bun. She was about to throw away the outer layer when Jiang Bu Ying couldn't help but scold her. Upset, Yao Guang left in a huff and accidentally fell while rushing away. Jiang Bu Ying wiped her face and accidentally pulled off her fake beard. Yao Guang thought he had discovered her true identity as a woman and was thinking of how to explain it to him. Unexpectedly, Jiang Bu Ying came to his own conclusion and believed that Yao Guang was just a gigolo.

The two continued walking, and when they passed by a Moon Temple, Yao Guang knelt down and prayed to the Moon God for a happy marriage. In her heart, she wondered what her ideal man would be like. But every time she listed a characteristic, the scenes of Jiang Bu Ying taking care of her over the past few days appeared in her mind, and he seemed to fit every characteristic of her ideal man.

While Huo Xing Chen prayed for a marriage match, Jiang Bu Ying also kowtowed to the Moon God and foolishly told the Moon God that having his best friend by his side was enough, and he no longer needed any marriage match. Yao Guang couldn't help but secretly laugh when she heard this. When Jiang Bu Ting was dancing, he exchanged flirtatious looks with a dancing girl. Uncle thought Jiang Bu Ting was interested in her and asked her to come and serve Jiang Bu Ting in bed. Seeing Huo Xing Chen looking at him, Jiang Bu Ting quickly explained that he had no such intention. After Uncle took the woman away, Huo Xing Chen couldn't help but approach Jiang Bu Ting, thinking he had that intention.

After a while of arguing with Huo Xing Chen, Jiang Bu Ting returned to his room to rest. Mu Bing He suddenly walked in and said he wanted to fulfill her martial arts dream, but now Huo Xing Chen had someone in her heart and rejected his request.

Huo Xing Chen was worried about making Jiang Bu Ting jealous and was about to ask Mu Bing He to leave when Jiang Bu Ting walked in with a bowl of porridge. Seeing Mu Bing He, he was very surprised, but fortunately, Huo Xing Chen mediated between them, and they didn't start a fight. Later, Jiang Bu Ying and Yao Guang arrived and saw that Yao Guang's beard was gone. Jiang Bu Ting immediately recognized that she was a woman and removed her from the list of rivals.

Huo Xing Chen saw that both of them had feelings for each other and asked Jiang Bu Ting if he should remind Jiang Bu Ying. However, Jiang Bu Ting felt that it would be better for Yao Guang to speak up herself. The group left the Xiaoyao Palace, and Yao Guang was pleasantly surprised to find that all the gifts given to her by the palace master were made of gold.

Jiang Bu Ting also gave Huo Xing Chen a gift. Since the last time Huo Xing Chen used his belt to deal with the thieves, Jiang Bu Ting came up with an idea and made a belt weapon for her. When Huo Xing Chen saw it, she was naturally very happy.

Seeing Jiang Bu Ting holding Huo Xing Chen's hand and teaching her how to use it, Yao Guang felt uneasy. She was originally worried that her brother would be heartbroken, but Mu Bing He told her that he had already let go of Huo Xing Chen. He was now here to fulfill her martial arts dream.

Jiang Bu Ting also gave Huo Xing Chen a pill prepared by his master. This time, the pill was green. After Huo Xing Chen took it, she saw strange things. She couldn't help but burst into laughter when she saw Jiang Bu Ting's pointed head. In Huo Xing Chen's eyes, everyone else also looked different. When Mu Bing He heard people discussing how Huo Xing Chen said they were ugly, he sighed and told them that no matter how ugly they were, they were still human in Huo Xing Chen's eyes. However, Huo Xing Chen mistook him for a horse.

Jiang Bu Ting and the others arrived at Huai Shu Town, where the mist was beneficial for Huo Xing Chen's condition. Upon arriving, they discovered that the town exuded a mysterious atmosphere. The normal residents of the town seemed to have disappeared the moment they arrived. Huo Xing Chen saw a boy wrapped in bandages and called out to him cutely, chasing after him. When she caught up to an altar, the cute boy suddenly disappeared. The mist there was even denser than at the village entrance. After Huo Xing Chen absorbed the mist, she quickly fainted. Mu Bing He, who arrived shortly after, held Huo Xing Chen's hand and also fainted.
