Episode 13 recap: Mu Bai and Wen Lan's Divorce
Zhuang Wenhua believes that once he obtains a 50% stake, he can kick Wen Lan out and feels extremely proud when discussing this matter with his wife. Mu Bai stays at the entrance without leaving, and when Wen Lan comes out, she asks him what he wants to do, feeling that he always acts according to his own will without considering others' thoughts.
Wen Lan explains that she married Mu Bai six months ago when she had amnesia. However, now she has her own career and pride, and she cannot always be by Mu Bai's side. Mu Bai admits that he had some misunderstandings before but now wants to truly understand Wen Lan. Wen Lan and Mu Bai go to the Civil Affairs Bureau and obtain their divorce certificate. When they come out, the atmosphere is somewhat awkward. Shi Chu comes to pick up Wen Lan, and she gets into the car and leaves with him. Wen Lan receives news that Zhuang Wenhua intends to hold a shareholders' meeting to dismiss her, so she rushes there.
Mu Bai also receives this news and wants to go there, but Shi Chu deliberately provides him with the wrong location, not wanting Mu Bai to arrive. Mu Bai finally manages to arrive after much effort and expresses his disagreement with the situation.
