Episode 10 recap: Fang Liang's confession failed.
Su Qiao heard some commotion outside and got startled, quickly going out to check. It turned out to be a crazy person pouring gasoline outside, trying to set it on fire. Su Qiao rushed forward to stop him from burning the convenience store. Lin Zi Lu and Su Qiao's uncle also arrived and managed to restrain the person.
The village chief also came and handed the person over to the police. Lin Zi Lu blamed Su Qiao for not considering the danger, as this would upset their grandmother. Su Qiao looked at a picture of their grandmother and remembered the past. Their grandmother had brought Su Qiao to the convenience store, gave them a cola, and said that it would be their home from then on.
In the past, Lin Zi Lu was here, and his father had promised to come and pick him up in two days. Lin Zi Lu wondered if his father didn't want him anymore, but their grandmother reassured him that they still had each other. Su Qiao's uncle had returned home after a failed business venture, and their grandmother had comforted him too. Su Qiao's uncle brought some colas over, and they all sat together and drank.
Su Qiao signed the contract and agreed to the demolition. Su Qiao realized that what mattered was not the convenience store itself but the relationships it fostered. Su Qiao suggested making pineapple canned goods together, but Fang Liang and the others didn't understand why Su Qiao made them every year. Fang Liang wanted to confess to Guan Jin Jin, so Su Qiao and Lin Zi Lu decided to give him a demonstration and teach him.
Fang Liang learned that Guan Jin Jin was going on a blind date and hurriedly came to take her away.
Fang Liang confessed to Guan Jin Jin, but she said she didn't want to start dating yet. Su Qiao and the others then found out that the person was just an upperclassman who wanted to take Guan Jin Jin to the city to see the university.
Fang Liang came back feeling down and believed that none of the methods suggested by Lin Zi Lu worked. Su Qiao discovered Lin Zi Lu's secret Weibo account and read a few posts, mistakenly thinking that Lin Zi Lu was insulting them in the account. This made Lin Zi Lu even more frustrated, as Su Qiao didn't recognize them despite reading the posts.
Unable to resist, Su Qiao continued browsing Lin Zi Lu's secret account and realized that the posts weren't about them. In an accidental slip, Su Qiao liked one of the posts, and Lin Zi Lu noticed that Su Qiao was truly reading it. Lin Zi Lu invited Su Qiao to go out and record some sounds, but Su Qiao realized they didn't have a ladylike dress and ended up wearing Guan Jin Jin's skirt.
Lin Zi Lu also dressed up nicely, and the two of them went to the mountains and recorded various sounds. Lin Zi Lu received a message from their father, saying that they had booked a flight for them to return the next day. After Su Qiao returned, they learned that Lin Zi Lu would be leaving the next day and questioned why Lin Zi Lu hadn't informed them.
Lin Zi Lu said it was a family matter and that they would handle it themselves, which annoyed Su Qiao. Lin Zi Lu helped Grandma Liu make pineapple canned goods, and Grandma Liu mentioned that Su Qiao sent pineapple canned goods to someone every year but didn't reveal who it was for.
