Episode 4 recap: A Yue arrives at the Fugua Village.
Su Qiao became so angry that he started crying. Guan Jin Jin and others believed that Lin Zi Lu was finished. The account book was very important to Su Qiao. The small grocery store was left by Su Qiao's grandmother. However, Su Qiao's uncle was someone who spent money freely and didn't earn much. If it weren't for Su Qiao diligently keeping accounts and running the store, the family would have been in dire straits. Lin Zi Lu was also surprised to learn about this situation and contemplated how to make it up to Su Qiao.
Guan Jin Jin thought that Su Qiao might be at her secret base. Lin Zi Lu went there and indeed found Su Qiao fishing. The two of them started discussing music, and Su Qiao mentioned that even though he didn't understand it, the sounds in the mountains and forests were very pleasant and could be considered music. Initially, Lin Zi Lu was skeptical, but upon listening carefully, he realized that it was indeed beautiful and recorded it.
Fang Liang finally obtained his driver's license and bought a motorcycle. He came to see Guan Jin Jin, expressing his intention to give her rides to school from now on. Guan Jin Jin mentioned that she didn't have a helmet, so Fang Liang gave her his helmet and even wrote her name on it. Su Qiao asked Lin Zi Lu to come and dig for oysters in this area, but Lin Zi Lu was very inexperienced. The local aunties looked down on him, considering him someone who had never done manual labor.
A Yue called Lin Zi Lu, informing him that she was coming over and would give him a surprise. Su Qiao saw A Yue on the beach and got very excited, saying that she had met A Yue, the male lead. A Yue came to find Lin Zi Lu and was warmly welcomed. A Yue noticed that Lin Zi Lu seemed down and asked if he was upset about not being as popular. Su Qiao and the others went to watch fireworks, with Su Qiao claiming that watching fireworks could cure all ailments and pulling Lin Zi Lu along. Lin Zi Lu had never experienced anything like this before and found it all very novel.
Su Qiao treated A Yue to a meal and invited him to stay at his home. Su Qiao continuously served food to A Yue, and Su Qiao's uncle was also very hospitable to him. When they returned to the room, A Yue felt that the performance was over and that he didn't want to smile anymore. Lin Zi Lu thought that everything here was quite nice and played the recorded sounds of the mountains and forests for A Yue, who agreed that they were indeed good.
A Yue was about to leave and called Su Qiao over, expressing that Lin Zi Lu was genuinely happy here. The reason the company readily allowed Lin Zi Lu to leave, apart from the incident of him hitting someone, was because he had depression. A Yue hoped that Su Qiao would take good care of Lin Zi Lu, and Su Qiao agreed.
