It's like the village of Haian, or a runaway female surgeon coming to the village. Works that depict the return to the land and countryside, with every small character being real and adorable, have been absent from Chinese dramas for a long time. It not only resonates with the present but also captures the authentic rural atmosphere.
There is even an element of criticism and mockery, criticizing the prevailing attitude of favoring boys over girls and mocking a family with four boys, questioning whether doing business and making money is truly the most important thing.
The supporting roles are really well-cast, each one fitting perfectly and exuding a southern charm. Moreover, for the first time in Chinese dramas, I saw a work that seamlessly incorporates the Minnan dialect without feeling out of place. The fusion is done exceptionally well!

I gave up watching after the fifth episode. The female lead was trying too hard, and after watching several of her dramas, I realized that her portrayal of each character was quite similar. The male lead's attractiveness depends on the angle, but there were too many unflattering shots, and he even resembled that actor, He Changxi. If the female lead wears colored contact lenses, I hope she doesn't wear them when playing a student in the future.
