Episode 15 recap: Yu Xiu Bo Spares No Means to Achieve His Goals
Yu Xiu Bo intentionally spoke in front of Lao Tai Jun, claiming that he gets along well with Li Yu Hu and that Yu Xiu Bo always appears pitiful. He even mentioned the kind of person he wants to marry, expressing that it would be wonderful to marry someone he loves. Lao Tai Jun has developed a fondness for Yu Xiu Bo, who also mentioned wanting to paint with Qi Tian Lei for Lao Tai Jun's upcoming birthday. Xiao Xi happened to see Ke Shi Zhao and Xiao Qiao talking to Yu Xiu Bo. Xiao Xi felt that something was off when she noticed everyone being overly nice to Yu Xiu Bo.
She later informed Li Yu Hu to be cautious, but it seemed that Li Yu Hu didn't take it seriously. Xiao Xi still felt that there was something suspicious about Yu Xiu Bo's intentions.

However, Xiao Xi happened to witness this scene and thought she was seeing things. The next morning, Yu Xiu Bo developed a high fever and couldn't eat anything. Lao Tai Jun, upon hearing about it, became very worried, while Xiao Qiao came up with a new idea. Lao Tai Jun originally intended to go and check on Yu Xiu Bo but found out that Li Yu Hu and Qi Tian Lei were already taking care of him, so she felt relieved.
Yu Xiu Bo kept calling out Qi Tian Lei's name, and Xiao Qiao deliberately suggested that Qi Tian Lei should go and see him. Yu Xiu Bo immediately grabbed Qi Tian Lei's sleeve, which made Li Yu Hu feel uneasy. At that moment, Ya Huan brought food, but Yu Xiu Bo pretended not to have an appetite. He even mentioned wanting to eat green plums, which were originally meant for Li Yu Hu to make plum wine. Li Yu Hu had no choice but to give them to Yu Xiu Bo, who deliberately praised them after eating. Li Yu Hu couldn't bear it anymore and made an excuse to leave.
Li Yu Hu told Xiao Xi that he felt something was strange about the situation but couldn't pinpoint what it was. Just then, Qi Tian Lei arrived, and Li Yu Hu was still angry. Qi Tian Lei tried to appease her. Qi Tian Lei could tell that Li Yu Hu was jealous, but Li Yu Hu stubbornly refused to admit it. However, Qi Tian Lei persuaded her not to be angry and took out the plum wine he had prepared in advance. He held Li Yu Hu's hand, promising that he would keep his word.
Qi Tian Lei also found Yu Xiu Bo's behavior to be a bit strange, and Xiao Xi suddenly remembered the scene she had witnessed that night. It might have been Yu Xiu Bo she saw. Li Yu Hu and Qi Tian Lei finally realized the truth, and Xiao Xi mentioned that Ke Shi Zhao had said some kind words to Yu Xiu Bo that day. They concluded that Ke Shi Zhao must be behind all this, and their current goal was to make Ke Shi Zhao think his plan had succeeded.
Xiao Qiao soon overheard Li Yu Hu and Qi Tian Lei arguing, but she didn't know that it was all part of their act. She happily went to report this to Ke Shi Zhao. At that moment, Li Yu Hu and Qi Tian Lei were actually kissing. Rather than calling it an argument, it was more of a way to deepen their relationship.
