Episode 6 recap: Fei Tang encountered some strange and bizarre events.
Ye Liu Xi told Chang Dong about her situation. She had a tattoo on her hand, but she didn't know its meaning and it looked quite ugly. Ye Liu Xi believed that someone was trying to kill her, so she had been calm and collected for over a year, focusing on making money. She thought that the person behind it would eventually come to her when they couldn't hold on any longer. Ye Liu Xi felt that the person behind it was even more anxious than herself.
Hui Ba and the others arrived, and Chang Dong noticed that Fei Tang was actually with them. Hui Ba explained that the sandstorm was too intense, and they didn't find anything, so they followed their footprints to get here. They set up their tents and busily prepared food.
Chang Dong called Fei Tang over and asked if he knew who Hui Ba really was. He warned that if Fei Tang continued to associate with them, trouble would eventually arise. Fei Tang was also frustrated, as he hadn't done anything wrong. He claimed that he was supposed to steal something, but ended up finding nothing, and he was simply walking with Hui Ba and the others without being involved in their activities. Fei Tang became more and more aggrieved and ended up lying on the ground, refusing to get up.
Just as Chang Dong was about to call Fei Tang to get up, he suddenly saw Fei Tang being dragged away by something unknown towards a distance. Fei Tang screamed in fear and urgently asked Chang Dong to save him. Chang Dong couldn't see clearly where Fei Tang was being taken. Fortunately, the thing dragging Fei Tang stopped after a while. Chang Dong quickly helped Fei Tang back to the tent area. Fei Tang was extremely frightened by the experience.
Fei Tang trembled as soon as he entered and lay down on the bed. Chang Dong told Hui Ba and the others about the situation and felt that it was not safe to stay there. He suggested driving for another two hours to return to the town where they could find safer accommodations. Hui Ba thought that it would take them one or two hours to pack up their belongings and another three or four hours to reach the town. Additionally, traveling at night would be dangerous, so it would be better to stay where they were since they had a larger group.
Chang Dong was helpless and decided to let Fei Tang rest there for the time being. He asked Fei Tang if he knew what took him away, but Fei Tang couldn't explain. Chang Dong took Ye Liu Xi back to the spot where Fei Tang had been taken, and they found a trace on the ground. Ye Liu Xi felt that whatever it was, it had tremendous strength. Ye Liu Xi suggested staying there, thinking that if the creature returned, they would finally know what it was. However, after waiting for a while, the creature didn't show up, and Ye Liu Xi felt that it probably wouldn't come back, so they decided to return.
Fei Tang was terrified and wanted to leave as soon as it was daylight. Chang Dong didn't want to leave yet, so he drew a map for Fei Tang, instructing him to follow the tracks and flags from the previous day. However, Fei Tang returned shortly after, extremely frightened. He said the flags were gone, and although the tracks were still there, they led straight into the yardang, which was impossible.
Chang Dong went to investigate by car, and Fei Tang knelt down and begged Ye Liu Xi, thinking that Ye Liu Xi was capable and hoping that he could lead him out. Ye Liu Xi asked Fei Tang why he should help him and said that if he could only take one person, he would definitely choose Chang Dong because having Chang Dong would increase their chances of survival. Ye Liu Xi suggested that Fei Tang think about what he could contribute and that if he wanted to survive, he would have to fight tooth and nail. He even hinted that Fei Tang might end up begging him in the future.
Chang Dong confirmed that what Fei Tang said was true, and Ye Liu Xi felt that Hui Ba and the others had found something valuable. If they hadn't, Hui Ba would have scolded them by now, but instead, they were talking and laughing. The people there looked down on Fei Tang for being cowardly, and Fei Tang got into an argument with them, claiming that he could determine the dynasty of an object with just one glance. Hui Ba happened to overhear their conversation.
