Episode 12 recap: Fu Yun Shen repeatedly rejects Zhu Jiu's kind intentions.
General Jiang calls his son, but he is unable to answer the call. His mother asks if he has been eating properly and expresses great concern for him. Zhu Jiu goes to the hospital and finds her friend to inquire about what happened to Fu Yun Shen. She only knows that Fu Yun Shen had a car accident a year ago but is not clear on the details. After returning home, Zhu Jiu calls Chen Le, wanting to know what Fu Yun Shen has been through in the past year. However, Chen Le says that she had promised their boss not to reveal anything to Zhu Jiu. Zhu Jiu doesn't understand why Fu Yun Shen suddenly disappeared before and now suddenly reappeared. She wants to know what exactly happened.
When Fu Yun Shen woke up initially and learned that he had no sensation in his legs, he felt lost and confused during his time at the hospital. With Fu Yun Shen being abroad, his grandfather felt the emptiness in the house. Although Fu Xizhou often came back to have meals with his grandfather, he couldn't help but feel that something was different. Fu Xizhou also informed his grandfather that his promotion to vice president might be delayed. While Fu Xizhou showed no apparent concern, he was actually deeply disappointed.
Since hearing Fu Yun Shen call her name the previous night, Zhu Jiu had made up her mind to stay and accompany him. However, Fu Yun Shen continued to give her a hard time.
