After being delayed for three years, this drama is captivating from start to finish. The storyline is tight, and the backgrounds are beautifully shot. The tender and unwavering affection between the male and female leads instantly evokes memories of first love.
It's really good, a bit melodramatic but not too much. The girls in it are brave and pursue love. Zhu Jiu is truly like a little sunshine, and the mutual healing and affection between her and Yun Shen is really touching.
Her kindness and resilience attract me. Yun Shen is also a rare protagonist who is innocent, cute, funny, and a bit narcissistic. There are both sweet and heartbreaking moments.
The only thing I didn't quite adapt to was the pacing of the plot, for example, when Xizhou turned against Yun Shen after his transformation, and when the male and female leads reconciled and the male lead's personality suddenly reverted.
The sweetness is there, but it feels a bit sudden overall.
