Episode 6 recap: Fu Xizhou rescued Fu Yun Shen and Zhu Jiu.
Today is Grandfather's birthday, but Fu Yun Shen didn't call, which made Grandfather feel a bit disappointed. Just then, Fu Yun Shen's mother received a satellite phone call, thinking it was from Fu Yun Shen, but it turned out to be Chen Le on the line, saying that Fu Yun Shen was missing. CEO Jiang became extremely anxious and fainted directly. The family took CEO Jiang to the hospital. Grandfather told his wife to rest well and then asked Fu Xizhou to go to Country M to find Fu Yun Shen.
Fu Xizhou had just arrived at the airport when Gu Ruan Ruan followed him. Gu Ruan Ruan insisted on going with him, and Fu Xizhou had no choice but to agree. It was already evening, and heavy rain started pouring from the sky. Fu Yun Shen asked Zhu Jiu to check her mother's diary for any self-rescue methods in the cave. Zhu Jiu began reciting from the diary, but both of them were growing increasingly weary. Zhu Jiu was too weak to speak, and Fu Yun Shen was desperately trying to get her to stay awake, even resorting to telling riddles in hopes of keeping her from falling asleep. They were growing colder and weaker, and just when their willpower was at its lowest, Fu Yun Shen heard someone calling their names. Fu Yun Shen knew they were finally being rescued. He struggled to stand up and prepare to call for help, but Zhu Jiu, in her drowsy state, pleaded with him not to leave. Fu Yun Shen took a couple of steps but then collapsed. The person who had come to their rescue also fainted. The entrance of the cave was blocked by a large boulder, so it needed to be dug open. Fu Xizhou saw Fu Yun Shen and quickly held him in his arms, while Fu Yun Shen, in his dazed state, kept calling for his brother to save Zhu Jiu.
Fu Yun Shen remained unconscious due to exhaustion, and Fu Xizhou was still worried. Just then, Fu Yun Shen woke up and asked Zhu Jiu about her well-being. Upon learning that Zhu Jiu was fine, Fu Yun Shen felt relieved. As soon as Fu Yun Shen felt a bit better, he came over to check on Zhu Jiu, who had just woken up. They exchanged some playful banter. However, Gu Ruan Ruan arrived again and asked Fu Yun Shen to leave. Fu Yun Shen had no choice but to obediently depart.
While Zhu Jiu was getting ready, she saw the watch Fu Yun Shen had drawn for her and couldn't help but smile. Fu Xizhou told his younger brother that they would leave together once the helicopter arrived, but Fu Yun Shen didn't want to go. He came up with various excuses. Fu Xizhou understood his brother's intentions and, upon Fu Yun Shen's pleading, eventually agreed.
The next day, Zhu Jiu and her uncle worked together in the village, providing medical assistance to the villagers. They were busy until late at night before they could find some time to rest. However, since the medical service was free, the villagers rushed in all at once, making it impossible to practice medicine properly. Zhou Zhizhi, who was in Shanghai, had always liked Fu Yun Shen, but she never took the initiative. Jiang Zong often created opportunities for them, but Fu Yun Shen didn't feel anything for Zhou Zhizhi.
Fu Xizhou wanted to buy a piece of artwork from someone, and upon learning that it was Gu Ruan Ruan's friend, he went to find her. Gu Ruan Ruan readily agreed. She promised Zhou Zhizhi that she would monitor Fu Yun Shen at all times, ensuring that he wouldn't get too close to Zhu Jiu. In the evening, Fu Yun Shen still made plans to meet Zhu Jiu outside for a chat. He knew what had happened in the cave that day, and he realized Zhu Jiu had been pretending to be unconscious. Zhu Jiu deliberately asked Fu Yun Shen about Zhou Zhizhi, and Fu Yun Shen mentioned that he was planning to return to his home country. In reality, Zhu Jiu felt somewhat disappointed.
After much contemplation, Zhu Jiu finally told Fu Yun Shen that there was something she wanted to discuss with him. Fu Yun Shen thought she was going to confess her feelings for him, but instead, Zhu Jiu asked him to repay a debt. Fu Yun Shen felt a bit disheartened. Nevertheless, he immediately returned the money to Zhu Jiu, which made her burst into laughter.
