Episode 4 recap: Dong Dongen received Zhang Zong.
Dong Dongen handed the proposal to Lou Yuan and received a phone call shortly after, stating that the contract could be signed. Dong Dongen went to the company to sign the contract, and Lou Yuan mentioned that they had reserved a workspace for Dong Dongen in the office for easier communication. After work, Dong Dongen was invited by their good friend Hai Mei to have a drink. Dong Dongen advised Hai Mei to drink less and shared their own story.
On the other side of the bar, Lou Yuan and Wang Zi Jian were also drinking and discussing the matter. Three years ago, when Lou Yuan returned to the country, they attended a party organized by Su Qi. At that time, Dong Dongen was an intern at San Jiao and was called to receive Lou Yuan. Lou Yuan was heavily intoxicated, and Dong Dongen couldn't bear to see it, so they drank a glass on Lou Yuan's behalf, only to discover that Su Qi's drink was spiked. Lou Yuan agreed, mentioning that Zhang Zong had a very unconventional personality and advised Dong Dong En to be cautious.
Dong Dong En packed the cafeteria food and brought it back for everyone to enjoy. Everyone was happy with the meal. Others believed that being together wasn't solely for the purpose of having meals.
This time, Zhang Zong wanted to promote unmanned convenience stores in the community, and both Lou Yuan and San Jiao were competing for this opportunity. Zhang Zong brought two cans of pickles, claiming they were made in his hometown. The bag was about to tear, but Dong Dong En had prepared a portable bag. San Jiao's Su Qi was also called over by Zhang Zong, and a confrontation ensued between Lou Yuan and Su Qi. After the meal, Dong Dong En mentioned that she had already arranged a room for Zhang Zong.
People in the company were discussing Dong Dong En and Lou Yuan's relationship. Dong Dong En arranged a massage for Zhang Zong, and he was quite satisfied.
