Episode 8 recap: Bai Yu, unable to bear the pressure, jumped off a building but was rescued.
The police came to investigate at Shenmao Bank, conducting interviews with each counter staff member. Eventually, suspicion of leaking customer information fell on Tao Wu Ji's master, Bai Jue, because most of the leaked information belonged to customers she had served during her shift. Everyone saw that Bai Yu was interviewed and became distraught, speculating that she was involved in the bank's wrongdoing. However, Tao Wu Ji noticed Zhu Qiang standing nearby and came up with a shocking answer in his mind.
As Bai Yu faced intense scrutiny and couldn't handle the pressure, she contemplated jumping off the building. Everyone hurriedly rushed to the rooftop to persuade her to calm down. Junlong Real Estate's Swan Island project applied for a loan from Meisheng Bank. According to the agreement, the funds were supposed to be used exclusively for the project.
