Episode 27 recap: Jiang Xi fiercely counterattacks a man who sexually harasses her.
Gu Xu stayed at home with Guoguo, but unexpectedly, Gu Xu allowed her to apply lipstick to his face. Helplessly, he had to take her out to find her mother. Jiang Xi mentioned that Wei Ming is now their son-in-law, and their future days may not be so good. Jiayi shared the news of her pregnancy with Wei Ming and asked her not to tell anyone for the first three months. Wei Ming assured her that she could take leave from the company temporarily. Jiayi openly stated that she didn't want to be a housewife and currently didn't have any reactions to pregnancy. Wei Ming could only agree with her.
Jiayi mentioned that they would be getting married soon and hoped that Wei Ming would come back early to help her choose a hotel for the wedding. Wei Ming informed her parents about Jiayi's pregnancy and her willingness to come and take care of her. Jiang Xi stated that she understood herself very well. Lin Shuang expressed that in that case, she could focus on improving herself. Jiang Xi found Mi Xue and thanked her for standing up and testifying for her. They discussed marketing methods and strategies that evening. Jiang Xi heard a delivery and immediately asked Jiang Hai to open the door. When she realized he wasn't home, she had to go by herself. Jiang Hai messaged her and mentioned that he had found a proper job this time, earned some extra money, and gave her some as well.
Gu Xu came to Lin Fu Jia's house and felt a bit sad seeing the messy state. He took out the food he brought from his bag. Lin Fu said he was really meticulous and reminded him not to tell Lin Shuang about Guoguo catching a cold, to avoid worrying her. When Lin Shuang returned home and saw Gu Xu, she mentioned that her father had already talked to her. She explained that she did all this for the growth of the company. Gu Xu stated that she once said sacrifices had to be made in either family or career, but there was another solution for her, which was to find an assistant. He quickly clarified that he didn't mean himself, fearing that she would misunderstand. Lin Shuang expressed that he was really good.
