Episode 28 recap: Lin Shuang conquers the tech guru.
Jiang Xi says that Gu Xu's actions are just being overly attentive without reason, either scheming or stealing. He openly admits that he has been secretly in love with Lin Shuang for many years and sees this as an opportunity. Does he think that by delivering meals and taking care of the children, he can win her over? Gu Xu advises Jiang Xi not to tell Lin Shuang about this for now. Jiang Xi points out that even though Lin Shuang already has children, Gu Xu continues to act this way. Gu Xu insists that she should not reveal this to anyone. Jiang Xi can only express her help if Lin Shuang needs divine intervention.
Jiang Xi calls Chairman Lin and tells him that she is waiting for him in the suite. Chairman Lin immediately rushes over, saying that she is just too good at pretending. When Jiang Xi sees him, she clarifies that she is only here today to sign a contract. Chairman Lin questions why she expects him to sign a contract without offering anything in return.
