Episode 4 recap: Liu Yueqing was drugged.
Liu Yueqing didn't want to attend the banquet because she didn't want Pei Xun to see her. However, Liu Yueqing's father believed that with so many people at the party, it would be unlikely for Pei Xun to notice her, so he forcibly brought Liu Yueqing along. Pei Xun's second brother, Pei Hao, also arrived, and Pei Xun mentioned that everyone was waiting for Pei Hao and urged him to hurry over.
Pei Xun waited by the back door, hoping to catch a lucky break. Liu Yueqing, accompanied by her father, also arrived at the back door. Liu Yueqing's father asked why she was so familiar with this place and even knew about the back door. Liu Yueqing didn't answer but thought to herself that she had lived in this area for two generations, so how could she not be familiar with it? Liu Yueqing didn't expect that as soon as the door opened, she would see Pei Xun. Her father quickly greeted Pei Xun, and Pei Xun asked Liu Yueqing's father to go in first, saying that the place had been renovated and her father hadn't seen it yet, so he should take him around.

After finishing the tea, Liu Yueqing felt dizzy, and the servant took her to a place to rest. Liu Yueqing realized that it was Pei Xun's place, which made her feel extremely frustrated.
