Episode 2 recap: Dongchen Group is facing a business crisis.
On Bai Xining's first day at work in Dongchen, she was full of enthusiasm. After meeting with the HR department leader, she was about to take the elevator to go upstairs when she happened to run into Lin Yi. At first, she was curious why other colleagues didn't take the elevator, but she didn't pay much attention to it. It wasn't until she was about to get off the elevator that she heard someone calling the man next to her "General Manager Lin."
After getting off the elevator, the man, who introduced himself as Cong Fei, greeted her and struck up a conversation.

During a meeting, Li Zhuo Ran and Lin Yi had another disagreement. Li Zhuo Ran only wanted to run the company for profit, while Lin Yi wanted to return to the essence and the original design work. Bai Xining visited her mother's grave and expressed her determination to live like her mother.
One colleague overheard the news that Dongchen was going to be sold. After returning to the country, Lin Zhe called his brother, Lin Yi. However, Lin Yi was busy with a meeting and only exchanged a few words before hanging up the phone. Bai Xining's colleagues treated her well. Bai Xining even complained that on her first day of work, she accidentally lost the General Manager's phone, and she was sure to be in trouble later. Qu Man, as the image spokesperson for Dongchen Jewelry, also shot some advertisements. Sometimes Lin Yi would go and take a look. He saw their latest sales champion jewelry and shared the next sales plan with Mr. Wang from the client company. However, the plan they formulated far exceeded Mr. Wang's expectations. Early in the morning, Lin Yi went to find Mr. Wang and firmly stated that as long as he was there, Dongchen would never be sold.
