Episode 22 recap: Brothers join forces to replace fake photos.
Ding Peng went to find Senchuan to authenticate the photos, but was told that Senchuan hadn't come to work yet. Ding Peng went to the reception room to rest, and after Song Zhuo Wu discovered this, he quickly sent someone to the photo studio to take out the family portrait in the showcase and make a switch. After Senchuan came to work, Song Zhuo Wu had someone confront him, and taking advantage of the opportunity, Song Zhuo Wu switched the photos.
After Senchuan started working, he examined the photos brought from the photo studio and confirmed that they were genuine. He then informed Ding Peng of the results. After Ding Peng left, Song Zhuo Wu hurriedly took people to follow him, needing to switch the photos back before Guan Xue saw them, otherwise Song Zhuo Wen's secret would be exposed!
Song Zhuo Wu chased after Ding Peng recklessly, intending to knock him unconscious and make him switch the photos back, but he failed. Helpless, they contacted Song Zhuo Wen, and Song Zhuo Wu drove to the special operations department and took Song Zhuo Wen away.
When Ding Peng returned to give the photos to Captain Ma, he was caught by Guan Xue, which startled him. Guan Xue warned him not to forget whom he was serving. Song Zhuo Wen asked Song Zhuo Wu to send him back to the special operations department, as Guan Xue probably hadn't seen the photos yet, so there was still time to switch them back.
Just as Guan Xue was about to look at the photos, he received a phone call from Teacher Guan Kai, saying that there was a fight at school. Guan Xue turned and left, and Song Zhuo Wen immediately sneaked in to replace the photos. When Guan Xue returned, Song Zhuo Wen pretended to be angry and questioned Guan Xue why he was investigating him, feigning anger and threatening to resign. Guan Xue quickly pacified his emotions.
Guan Xue said that Captain Ma and Pan Yue had a close personal relationship, which was the real reason behind the investigation. Guan Xue asked Song Zhuo Wen why he came to his office, and Song Zhuo Wen quickly came up with a clever response, returning the three gold bars and saying that he couldn't give them as a gift.
Guan Xue didn't pursue the matter further and asked Song Zhuo Wen to go find Guan Kai, who was having a tantrum and fighting again. The fight involved Xie Yue and a girl, and Guan Kai was present, but nobody dared to call the police, and the scene was chaotic. When Song Zhuo Wen arrived, he was even accused of being Xie Yue's wild man.
Song Zhuo Wen decided to scare them off by firing a shot, which made them flee, leaving only Xie Yue behind.
Xie Yue was in a sorry state, and she asked Song Zhuo Wen to take her away, anywhere in front of everyone. Song Zhuo Wen took Xie Yue away in front of everyone, even though everyone behind them cursed her as a traitor and a lackey.
Song Zhuo Wen brought Xie Yue back to his own home and let her stay for a few days. Qian Chong Li was worried that Guan Xue would find out, but Song Zhuo Wen believed that Guan Xue didn't need to interfere in his personal life. However, Qian Chong Li understood very well that Guan Xue wouldn't let this matter go, so Song Zhuo Wen planned to keep Xie Yue and make Guan Xue wonder what they were up to.
Guan Xue announced Song Zhuo Wen's appointment, and upon receiving the news, Pan Yue broke through his defenses again and threw everything in the ward. Unfortunately, at that moment, Song Zhuo Wen arrived. Despite the chaotic scene, Song Zhuo Wen provocatively spoke up when he saw it, while Pan Yue pretended to remain calm but was infuriated inside.
Song Zhuo Wen went to the Intelligence Department's office, intending to open Pan Yue's cabinet where there must be valuable information. Song Zhuo Wen was excited about Pan Yue's intelligence files, but Qian Chong Li reminded him not to get carried away. With Aunt Chang and Xie Yue around, this household appeared normal to outsiders, but Song Zhuo Wen knew he had to be on guard against Aunt Chang.
During dinner, Guan Xue arrived, and Xie Yue immediately hid. Guan Xue brought wine to celebrate and had a conversation with Xie Yue while borrowing the bathroom. Unexpectedly, she moved in so quickly. After dinner, Guan Xue pretended to be jealous and leaned on Song Zhuo Wen, saying he didn't like the way Xie Yue looked at him.
