Episode 34 recap: Qian Chong Li is seriously injured.
Qian Chong Li and Song Zhuo Wu managed to shake off Ding Peng. By the time Ding Peng caught up to the target vehicle, the two had already escaped safely. When Pan Yue arrived in pursuit, Ding Peng told him that he was acting on his own and needed to find evidence to explain to Guan Xue. Pan Yue took a quick look and realized that the car and the police were both fake. Using the clues left by the vehicle, Ding Peng rushed to Wenjing Street to find them.
After Song Zhuo Wu and Qian Chong Li safely left, they told him that Song Zhuo Wen had called and instructed them to pretend to be customs officers to rescue him. As soon as the gunshots rang out, Qian Chong Li immediately burned all the documents, while Song Zhuo Wu fought hard to cover Qian Chong Li's retreat.
On the way out, Song Zhuo Wu passed by Guan Xue in the car, leaving Guan Xue in disbelief. Song Zhuo Wu and Qian Chong Li were surrounded and Qian Chong Li was shot in the abdomen. Guan Xue went to Chief Asano's office, and Pan Yue was also there. Chief Asano announced Pan Yue's appointment as the Deputy Director of the Secret Service Department.
