Episode 1 recap: Tong Yu Xin has superpowers.
Tong Yu Xin claimed to be the hottest singer recently and believed that no matter how she sang, people would fall in love with her within the span of one song. Tong Yu Xin's manager approached her and informed her that her single was about to be released. The manager had arranged for a vocal coach for Tong Yu Xin and asked her to practice.
Tong Yu Xin refused, stating that she had supernatural abilities. Ever since she obtained a certain necklace, singing a song would make others fall in love with her. Therefore, she didn't need to practice at all. The manager acknowledged that he knew about Tong Yu Xin's superpower but emphasized that she shouldn't rely too heavily on it. Tong Yu Xin mentioned that she couldn't take off the necklace since she put it on, so there was nothing to worry about.
The manager insisted that Tong Yu Xin should come down and practice vocal techniques. Present there was a young man named Tang Yu Tong, who was supposed to be Tong Yu Xin's teacher. However, the teacher had an unexpected matter to attend to, so Tang Yu Tong was asked to substitute. Tang Yu Tong asked Tong Yu Xin to attempt a few music theory exercises to assess her foundation, but she refused and instead offered to sing a song for him.
Tang Yu Tong found Tong Yu Xin's singing to be extremely unpleasant, which greatly surprised her. She hadn't expected that her own song wouldn't make her fall in love with herself. Tang Yu Tong concluded that Tong Yu Xin simply didn't want to pursue a career in music and stated that he couldn't teach her. With those words, he was about to leave.
