Episode 16 recap: Tong Yu Xin is framed.

Tong Yu Xin was crying in the park when a woman approached and gave her a pack of tissues. The woman asked Tong Yu Xin why she didn't expose the truth since the song was clearly written by Tong Yu Xin herself. Tong Yu Xin said it wouldn't make a difference because if she sang the song herself, she wouldn't win any awards. She believed her singing wasn't good and she wasn't attractive.

Tang Yu Tong came to find Lin Xiao Qing and asked her what was going on. Lin Xiao Qing asked Tang Yu Tong why he didn't believe in her. Tang Yu Tong said he knew Tong Yu Xin well and that she wasn't that kind of person. Lin Xiao Qing asked Tang Yu Tong to sing a song for her, promising to tell him the truth afterward. Tang Yu Tong thought he could make Lin Xiao Qing tell the truth by using a necklace, so he sang the song. Unexpectedly, Lin Xiao Qing suddenly leaned in and kissed Tang Yu Tong, and the necklace ended up with Lin Xiao Qing. Tong Yu Xin happened to see this and was very angry. She couldn't believe Tang Yu Tong didn't return the necklace to her and instead gave it to Lin Xiao Qing.

Tong Yu Xin took Lin Xiao Qing away and asked her about the song. Lin Xiao Qing refused to admit it was plagiarized. Tong Yu Xin was furious, feeling betrayed by someone she considered a friend. Tong Yu Xin and Lin Xiao Qing were judges together when they debuted as a group. Tong Yu Xin had suggested that Lin Xiao Qing consider going solo, which would have helped her advance. Lin Xiao Qing had claimed she wouldn't abandon Tong Yu Xin, but in reality, she took the song that Tong Yu Xin had written.
