Episode 4 recap: Liang Bing Bing bought medicine for Zhou Yu. Zhou Yu got into a fight with his roommate.
After exchanging greetings with Zhou Yu, Liang You Guang went to the office to find Gu Luo, startling him. While reminiscing with Gu Luo, Liang You Guang started joking around, and Gu Luo mentioned his wife and daughter. Liang You Guang was at a loss for words. Liang You Guang hadn't been in contact with his wife Pei Zhen and Liang Bing Bing. When Gu Luo wanted to introduce him to the team members, Liang You Guang joked and indicated that he knew why Pei Zhen didn't choose Gu Luo.
Liang You Guang greeted all the team members, and it was only when they began training that Gu Luo informed Liang You Guang about Zhou Yu's injury. Upon learning about Zhou Yu's injury, Liang You Guang immediately went to the medical room to check on the situation and inquire about Zhou Yu and Gu Luo. Liang You Guang rambled on for a while before giving words of encouragement to Zhou Yu, advising him to control his temper and train well.
Liang Bing Bing came to pick up the medicine and overheard Liang You Guang's voice at the door. Liang You Guang had a lot to say to Zhou Yu, which made Liang Bing Bing feel uneasy. When Liang Bing Bing was sick as a child, Pei Zhen was somewhat distraught and needed Liang You Guang by her side, but he wouldn't answer the phone, and they couldn't find him anywhere.
After instructing Zhou Yu, Liang You Guang thought about the happy times with his family and missed his wife and daughter. He messaged Pei Zhen, not knowing where she and Liang Bing Bing were. He found it strange that Pei Zhen prevented him from talking to or meeting Liang Bing Bing and left her several messages. Seeing Liang You Guang, Liang Bing Bing had many thoughts and became melancholic, unsure of how to face him.
After training, Hu Jingguang and Wu Hao were in the locker room when they unintentionally overheard Shen Liang mocking Wu Hao, claiming that he was washed up and had been sent back by the national team. This infuriated Hu Jingguang, who confronted Shen Liang directly. After Hu Jingguang's outburst, Wu Hao demanded to have a showdown with Shen Liang to see who was truly inferior. Shen Liang, who thought highly of himself, confidently competed against Wu Hao, but he didn't anticipate the vast difference between them and had nothing good to say.
After school, Shen Liang was greeting Zhou Yu, who was walking back to the dormitory with someone. Gu Luo came over to inform Shen Liang that there would be an inspection by leaders tomorrow and asked Shen Liang to notify all eligible participants to gather at 8 a.m. the next morning. Gu Luo completely ignored Zhou Yu while talking to Shen Liang, which Zhou Yu couldn't accept. He didn't want Gu Luo to look down on him, so he went to the swimming pool to train despite his injury. Liang Bing Bing went to the swimming pool to find Zhou Yu and saw him training with his injury. She bought a bottle of spray for Zhou Yu and left a note to cheer him on.
The next day, when the leaders arrived at the school, Gao Feng and Wu Hao were late and were punished by Gu Luo with a 3,000-meter run. Gu Luo questioned Shen Liang why the notification wasn't properly given. Shen Liang claimed that Zhou Yu knew about it, so he didn't notify them, resulting in Shen Liang being punished with a 5,000-meter run. Zhou Yu was also tasked with supervising the punished team members. After being punished, Wu Hao and Gao Feng were angry with Zhou Yu for not notifying them and blamed him for his attitude, accusing him of not considering them as part of the team. Zhou Yu tried to explain, but Wu Hao and Gao Feng's words were harsh. In a moment of excitement, Zhou Yu ended up fighting with Wu Hao.
Accompanied by Hao Di, police officers from the police station went to the dormitory to meet Zhou Yu, who had helped catch a thief, but they happened to encounter Zhou Yu and Wu Hao fighting. They managed to stop them. After the police left, Hao Di explained that Zhou Yu didn't participate in the relay race last time because of the incident with the thief. Hearing this, the team members no longer blamed Zhou Yu. Afterward, the members of Dorm 628 were all punished to write self-criticisms in front of everyone and were made to stand at the entrance of the dormitory building, making them the subject of ridicule. However, because of this incident, they turned the page on the previous unpleasantness.
Zhou Yu trained relentlessly. During an English class, he was so exhausted that he fell asleep and was called out by Liang Bing Bing. Unable to read the English taught by Liang Bing Bing when called upon, Zhou Yu was punished to stand during the class. As a result, he stuck a small note on Liang Bing Bing's back. When other classmates laughed, Liang Bing Bing was informed by Gao Feng about Zhou Yu's little action, but she didn't make things difficult for Zhou Yu. Instead, she confronted Zhou Yu after class. It was only then that Zhou Yu realized that the spray was bought by Liang Bing Bing and left for him at the swimming pool.
When Zhou Yu was young, he had a good relationship with Liang Bing Bing. Knowing that it was Liang Bing Bing who bought the spray for him, he felt happy inside but didn't know how to face the grown-up Liang Bing Bing, so he couldn't even say a simple thank you.
