The director did a great job; many scenes were captured with a great sense of atmosphere, which was quite captivating. At its core, it is a pure love story about mutual redemption. Although the male lead approaches the female lead with a purpose, he ends up protecting and healing her during their time together. After getting to know her vulnerabilities and strengths, it's inevitable that they develop feelings for each other. The pacing is well done, and I don't find it clichéd. I find this kind of natural attraction to be very realistic and relatable. Being able to empathize with the female lead when she is vulnerable, knowing there's someone who will come forward to protect her, and reassuring her not to be afraid and offering a shoulder to lean on when she's in tears—it's heartwarming and touching. The styling of the female lead is beautifully done, and she looks stunning with a vibrant and comfortable appearance. The male lead may not be conventionally handsome at first, but as the story progresses, he becomes quite captivating to watch. He is tall, slim, and has a refined look. I think they make a good pair. I really like the dynamic of a mature and strong sister figure paired with a younger brother who takes care of others.

In the first two episodes, as long as you feel that the plot is fine, there are basically no major issues. However, in the third episode, the scene where the person was hit, it was cut right after the impact, which made it seem a bit fake. Where did the atmospheric lighting come from in the fourth episode? In the sixth episode, when the male lead saves the female lead, he has a classic entrance, coming in with the headlights on. The male lead's hairstyle really looks like a Martian, similar to Hua Chenyu's hairstyle, and it's not attractive.
Momo1 year ago rating:5.1
The marketing is too much, but the plot is still the typical cliché seen in old-fashioned online novels. The male lead actor is average, and his character is somewhat interesting, but he's cunning without being smart. The female lead seems to have a love-struck mind, easily forgiving the male lead after being deceived. You two are truly meant for each other. There's a slight chemistry between the male and female leads, but unfortunately, the plot is also thinly developed. It's quite an insulting drama in terms of intelligence, and there's no real need to watch it.

The plot is extremely, extremely cliché. The old man knows that taking the medicine will make him faint, but he still takes it. Can't he pretend to be unconscious? The relationship between him and the male lead is also puzzling. Weren't they supposed to be father and son? In the end, the father doesn't leave any inheritance for his son, just a small allowance for living expenses. There are too many unreasonable aspects in this storyline. It's better not to make such a drama. It's something that diminishes intelligence.
