Episode 14 recap: Boqiu and Su Xiaohuan's relationship is heating up.
As Boqiu was about to discover Lord Qiansui, Su Xiaohuan became extremely afraid of Lord Qiansui being found out. Just as the situation was critical, Su Xiaohuan suddenly turned Boqiu around and kissed him. Boqiu didn't inspect the black-clad person in the cabinet closely because of the kiss. Boqiu carried Su Xiaohuan away, and Su Xiaohuan took the opportunity to urge Lord Qiansui to leave quickly. Boqiu carried Su Xiaohuan to bed and kissed her. Initially, Su Xiaohuan wanted to refuse, but she found a circle of runes nearby that were very similar to the runes on the scroll.
Su Xiaohuan immediately got up, and Boqiu seemed to understand as well. The two coincidentally found a waist token on the ground, which was accidentally dropped by Lord Qiansui. Boqiu asked Su Xiaohuan if she knew what it was, but Su Xiaohuan pretended not to know anything and claimed it was just an ordinary waist token. Su Xiaohuan quickly made an excuse and left, but despite that, Boqiu already had suspicions.
Su Xiaohuan went to ask Lord Qiansui if he had reached an understanding. Lord Qiansui said he was close but not quite there yet. He asked Su Xiaohuan if she had developed feelings for Boqiu, and she quickly denied liking him, stating that Boqiu was her father's enemy. Lord Qiansui still wanted to kiss Su Xiaohuan, but she avoided it. Lord Qiansui also informed Su Xiaohuan that he would take action the next day.
Su Xiaohuan drank quite a bit of alcohol that night. In fact, she found it strange why Boqiu already knew but hadn't exposed her. Su Xiaohuan was also thinking about Lord Qiansui and now found herself in a dilemma, unsure of what to do. At that moment, Boqiu came over, and Su Xiaohuan, in a dazed state, asked him why he hadn't exposed her when he already knew.
Su Xiaohuan even pinched Boqiu's face, and Boqiu carried her to bed to sleep. Boqiu was about to leave, but Su Xiaohuan held onto him. Boqiu was about to kiss her, but Su Xiaohuan, in a dazed state again, spoke and fell back asleep on the bed. Boqiu personally made sobering soup for Su Xiaohuan and, when she woke up again in a dazed state, she was about to drink alcohol but was nearly ambushed by the black-clad person. Fortunately, Boqiu arrived in time.
However, Boqiu couldn't control himself when he saw blood and, in order to prevent Su Xiaohuan from getting hurt, he felt the stab himself.
