It's a great short drama with a strong storyline, and it's really enjoyable to watch. It would be even better if it were made into a full-length drama because there's never enough to watch.

The plot is quite engaging, even though it's a short drama, it's beautifully crafted. The story is intricately woven, and what's important is that Jia Qi is so adorable, and the Fox Demon is also very handsome.

Today, I watched the final episode and the behind-the-scenes interview special. It's finally over! It was thanks to the beautiful face and acting skills of the actor who played the character "Zuoye" (but the story of "Moon Prince" was more memorable and made me cry) and the director's aesthetic sense. Short dramas nowadays really need to be polished well.

By fast-forwarding, I reached around the tenth episode, and I felt a bit weary. It's an okay show for casual viewing, but if you watch it seriously, it's embarrassingly cringeworthy. Personally, I'm not particularly fond of the reincarnated lovers' storyline, and after seeing the appearances of the male and female leads multiple times, you start noticing quite a few issues (and the heavy makeup, wow). The production team's limited budget is also quite evident. I'll give it three stars and encourage the young actors.

On October 18, 23, I fast-forwarded through almost the entire drama. I think it was right to cast a cute female lead with thick eyebrows and big eyes, but she didn't deliver a convincing portrayal of deep emotions, and the plot lacked persuasiveness. It would have been better if the story's sequence and pacing were adjusted, such as revealing the initial meeting and the cost earlier on. It would have made the plot more engaging and satisfying, instead of having all the revelations piled up in a few episodes towards the end.

The concept of a millennium-old fox spirit searching for the girl who saves him in every lifetime resonated with me, but the overall plot lacks any logical coherence. The characters act in a whimsical manner, as if they're playing make-believe. The acting skills of every actor fall short, with the female lead showing too many traces of acting, and the male lead not portraying enough depth of emotion. From start to finish, I couldn't discern how much the male lead truly loved the female lead. If he truly loved her, he should have sealed himself away earlier or refrained from seeking the reincarnation of the female lead. Instead, in this lifetime, he found her and played tricks on her. The female lead's feelings towards the male lead are inexplicable. In the early stages, she doesn't particularly hate him, and in the later stages, she doesn't particularly love him. Everything is based on hearsay without verifying the facts. I particularly liked the actress who played the second female lead, Yu Li. She is well-suited for portraying a rational and restrained character who loves but cannot have what she desires.
