Episode 3 recap: Lu Fei Yan helps Song Ranran cut off her bad luck in love and investigates Song Ranran's romantic relationships.
Yan Mo accidentally intruded into Gu Yan Zhi's life story, affecting the timing of Song Ranran and Gu Yan Zhi's meeting, which was postponed for six months. Meanwhile, Yan Mo caught a fever after getting drenched in the rain. Lu Fei Yan noticed that Yan Mo's life force was diminishing, and the history of Gu Yan Zhi and Song Ranran's meeting was delayed for half a year. This worried him greatly, so he decided to go to 2022 to assess the situation.
Lu Fei Yan looked at Yan Mo, informed him about the situation, and advised him to rest and recover while he tried to investigate Song Ranran and see if he could restore the timeline. Lu Fei Yan gathered information about Song Ranran and discovered that she often socialized at tea houses. So, he went to a tea house to meet Song Ranran.

However, unintentionally, he fell asleep while holding Gu Yan Zhi.
The next morning, Gu Si Yu came to Gu Yan Zhi's house and happened to see Gu Yan Zhi and Yan Mo lying together. He lifted the blanket and took a picture, asking Gu Yan Zhi to explain. Gu Yan Zhi wanted to explain that nothing had happened between him and Yan Mo, but Gu Si Yu believed it was just an excuse from a scumbag. He twisted Gu Yan Zhi's ear and demanded that Gu Yan Zhi apologize to Yan Mo.
While Gu Si Yu forced Gu Yan Zhi to apologize, he promised Yan Mo that he would make Gu Yan Zhi take responsibility for Yan Mo. Lu Fei Yan discovered that the spark of love between Gu Yan Zhi and Song Ranran began at the art school, so he went to find Song Ranran there.
