Episode 13 recap: Shen Chen and Han Meng Nan form an alliance.
Tian Tian remembered what someone had previously said, not to dwell on the past but to look forward. Tian Tian almost fell, but luckily, Shen Mi caught her. Shen Chen approached Han Meng Nan and proposed forming an alliance with the purpose of breaking up Tian Tian and Shen Mi. He promised to inform Han Meng Nan of any news regarding Shen Mi.
Tian Tian and Shen Mi arrived at the hotel, but to their surprise, the front desk informed them that they had only booked a luxury honeymoon suite. Tian Tian felt extremely embarrassed and asked if there were any other available rooms. The front desk replied that the hotel was fully booked for the day. When Tian Tian and Shen Mi entered the room, they found roses placed on the bed.
Tian Tian became even more embarrassed and called her aunt, asking what was going on. Her aunt said that feeling embarrassed meant something was happening, otherwise, they should have been straightforward about it. She believed that there would be a time in the future when Tian Tian would be grateful to her. Shen Mi thought that with such a large room, it was sufficient for the two of them to stay, and suggested that Tian Tian rest for a while before going out together in the evening.
Shen Mi went out to meet someone who provided him with some information. The person said that the factory had been closed for many years and it was not easy to find this information. When Tian Tian woke up, she realized that Shen Mi was not there but had left her a note saying that he had gone out.
Tian Tian went to the balcony and discovered Shen Chen on the balcony of another room. Tian Tian and Shen Chen came out and asked Shen Chen why he came over. Tian Tian mentioned that the hospital was currently short-staffed, and it seemed inappropriate for Shen Chen to leave his post. Shen Chen explained that it was his classmate's friend's wedding, and he felt obligated to attend.
Shen Chen noticed a food stall nearby and said he would buy something for Tian Tian. However, Tian Tian grabbed Carlo's hand and left directly. There was a vendor selling water lanterns who asked Tian Tian if she wanted to buy one, claiming that the lanterns were very effective for making wishes. Tian Tian bought one.

Shen Mi asked Tian Tian if she had any secrets, and Tian Tian replied that everyone has secrets. She proposed exchanging secrets with Shen Mi and confessed that she used to dislike her younger brother when she was a child. Shen Chen returned after buying things and realized that Tian Tian was missing. After searching for a while, he found them and saw Shen Mi looking frustrated.
Tian Tian explained that Shen Chen had come to solve their accommodation issue, and Shen Mi could go and sleep with Shen Chen. Shen Mi and Shen Chen returned, and they discussed that Shen Chen should not let Tian Tian know about their relationship. If they encountered Han Meng Nan, Shen Chen should handle it himself. They also agreed not to reveal that Shen Mi was a veterinarian. Otherwise, they would send him back immediately, and Shen Chen reluctantly agreed.
The next day, Tian Tian and Shen Mi attended the Veterinary Medicine Summit. When Shen Chen woke up, he discovered that Tian Tian was already gone and tried calling her, but her phone was switched off. He hurriedly rushed over.
Tian Tian felt that she heard many experts speaking, but their field was different from hers, so she found it difficult to understand. She thought it would be great if Tian Lin could have such a platform. Coincidentally, there was a skill competition where participants had to quickly remove foreign objects stuck in pets. Shen Mi encouraged Tian Tian to participate.
Tian Tian successfully used the Heimlich maneuver to remove the foreign object. She mentioned that her father had taught her this technique, and it was during that incident that she realized the value of being a veterinarian. Shen Chen wanted to go in, but he was stopped because he didn't have an invitation.
Coincidentally, Han Meng Nan saw Shen Chen, and Tian Tian and Shen Mi also returned. Shen Chen quickly took Tian Tian away. Shen Chen proposed forming an alliance with Han Meng Nan with the purpose of breaking up Tian Tian and Shen Mi. He assured Han Meng Nan that he would inform her of any news regarding Shen Mi.
Shen Mi brought Tian Tian to meet his close friend and continued the conversation about the unfinished secret from before.
