Episode 14 recap: Shen Mi told Tian Tian his secret.
Shen Mi revealed that when he was a child, his father came to this area to deal with a problem at the company where Green River works. Unexpectedly, his father had an accident, and Shen Mi's mother took him to the hospital, where they saw his father's body. At that time, Shen Mi was still young and very scared, so he ran away and couldn't find his way back. That's when he met Gao Zhuo.
Gao Zhuo's parents came to this area to work, but they had a car accident, and Gao Zhuo ended up wandering nearby. Shen Mi actually did report to the police, but he doesn't remember much, and Green River was not a big company like it is now, so they couldn't find their way back, and they ended up living here with Gao Zhuo. Later, they saved up some money and wanted to go out to sea together, calling themselves forever good friends. However, something happened at sea, and Gao Zhuo fell into the water. By the time he was rescued and taken to the hospital, it was too late.
This place was Gao Zhuo's favorite place, so Shen Mi buried him here. Tian Tian didn't expect Shen Mi to have such a past and quickly comforted him. Shen Mi thanked Gao Zhuo and said that it was Gao Zhuo who saved him back then, allowing him to continue living.
Shen Mi and Tian Tian returned, and Shen Chen had been waiting for them here for a long time. He complained that he was almost starving to death because he had no money to eat. He asked them where they had been. Han Meng Nan was having a meal here and was approached by two foreigners. Han Meng Nan said he didn't want to drink with them, but the foreigners refused to leave. Tian Tian called back home to ask what was going on. Tian Tian's aunt said that the hospital was about to be demolished and asked Tian Tian to come back quickly.
Tian Tian hurried back, and Shen Mi sent a message to Han Meng Nan, saying that he was returning to the country first, leaving Han Meng Nan feeling very disappointed.
Tian Tian rushed back and told guest Gao Ju that if there was anything she could tell her, she would definitely help resolve it.
Gao Ju explained that she had previously bought a dog from a dog breeding facility and brought it here for Dr. Chen to examine. However, Dr. Chen colluded with the people from the breeding facility and falsely claimed that the dog was very healthy. As a result, her dog got sick and when she brought it here for treatment, Dr. Chen ended up killing it. Tian Tian asked Dr. Chen what happened, but Dr. Chen denied any wrongdoing and insisted that she did not collude with any dog breeding facility.
Han Meng Nan and Gu Ming Ze came out, and Han Meng Nan said he wanted to take Gu Ming Ze somewhere. Han Meng Nan arrived here and also noticed the stone monument, seeing the date written on it, which coincided with the day Tian Tian returned to the country, finding it strange.

Now Gao Ju firmly believed that Tian Lin Animal Hospital colluded with the dog breeding facility, selling her a sick dog and then causing its death, demanding an explanation from them.
Shen Mi stated that they had worked with Dr. Chen for many years and knew what kind of person he was. He firmly believed that Dr. Chen couldn't have done such a thing. Tian Tian asked Dr. Chen to tell the whole truth about what happened back then to see what really occurred.
