Episode 19 recap: Xing Tao's Wish Comes True.
Xing Tao's mother came over and knew that they had tried their best and was very grateful to them. Tian Yu Xian asked Xing Tao's mother where Xing Tao wanted to take Feni. Xing Tao's mother explained that when Xing Tao was very young, she divorced his father, and some things happened at that time. Xing Tao was unable to cope with it and wanted to jump into the sea to commit suicide.
Fortunately, Feni was there at that time and saved Xing Tao. Feni was raised by fishermen who fed stray dogs meal by meal. Xing Tao then adopted Feni. Later, Xing Tao's mother moved around with Xing Tao. As Xing Tao grew up and earned money, he wanted to take Feni back to their hometown to live together. However, his mother disagreed, and this matter has been unresolved.
Xing Tao's mother was also very sad, as she could no longer fulfill Xing Tao's wish. They brought sand, and Shen Mi brought something with a scent that was salty and fishy, similar to seawater.

When he wakes up, he will be by the seaside. Even if he wakes up and finds himself by the seaside, he will be very happy. Tian Yu Xian urged Shen Chen to confess his feelings to Tian Tian quickly, or else Shen Mi would steal her away. Shen Chen stated that he couldn't force Tian Tian if she didn't agree to it.
Tian Yu Xian mentioned that they would take Shen Chen home today to meet his parents since Shen Chen had fulfilled his promise, and they couldn't go back on their word. Shen Hong Yuan hoped that Gu Ming Ze could help promote the painting, but Gu Ming Ze refused, stating that he was a researcher and his focus should remain on his research.
Han Meng Nan approached Gu Ming Ze with a document, expressing surprise that Gu Ming Ze, whom she thought was a researcher, would do such things. She was sent by Shen Hong Yuan to cooperate with Gu Ming Ze and ensure that he knows what to say and what not to say during the interview.
Gu Ming Ze stated that he had already refused. Three months had passed quickly, and Tian Lin Animal Hospital had not achieved the targeted revenue. According to the previous agreement, everyone except Tian Tian would be dismissed. Doctor Chen and the others said they should be the ones dismissed and let others stay. Shen Mi had observed everyone's strengths during this time and understood why their hospital had survived for so long. He believed that everyone should be allowed to stay, and Doctor Chen and the others were pleased to hear this.
Shen Chen was called back home for dinner, and Shen Hong Yuan complained to Grandfather Shen, saying that Han Meng Nan was not cooperating. During the meal, Grandfather Shen brought up the matter and asked Han Meng Nan to cooperate with Gu Ming Ze's interview. Han Meng Nan could only agree.
Gu Ming Ze did not want Han Meng Nan to do something she didn't want to do, but Han Meng Nan said it was fine. Tian Tian was originally going home but unexpectedly Grandfather Shen came to see Shen Mi, so Shen Mi had to call Tian Tian over with a phone call.
Shen Chen had also come to see Shen Mi but was asked by Grandfather to stay, and to avoid being noticed by Tian Tian, he hid in the bathroom.
