Episode 30 recap: Shen Mi confesses to Tian Tian.
Tian Tian asks why Shen Mi is here, and Shen Mi says that they came to apologize to Tian Tian for the misunderstandings and hurt caused by their own actions. Shen Mi confesses to Tian Tian, expressing a desire to be with her forever.Shen Chen reveals that Shen Mi has been deceiving Tian Tian and that once the Tianlin Animal Hospital achieves its goals, Shen Mi will return to Lvchuan. Han Meng Nan invites Shen Mi to have a meal and shows them the repaired qin (a traditional musical instrument). Shen Mi doesn't recognize the qin and asks if Han Meng Nan intends to give it to them as a gift.
Han Meng Nan is surprised that Shen Mi has forgotten about the qin. Shen Mi claims to remember it but dismisses it as something from their childhood, asking Han Meng Nan not to take it too seriously. Han Meng Nan is deeply hurt and finds it hard to believe that their childhood feelings were all fake.
Shen Mi admits that they should have clarified things with Han Meng Nan earlier and explains that since returning to the country, they have always treated Han Meng Nan as a sister. Han Meng Nan doesn't want to hear any more and asks Shen Mi to leave. After some hesitation, Shen Mi leaves.
When Shen Mi returns home, Tian Tian has already packed her bags and says she won't disturb Shen Mi anymore. She asks Shen Mi to help dispose of the remaining items. A package arrives at Shen Mi's house, and upon opening it, Shen Mi discovers it's hot pot ingredients that Tian Tian bought. They were supposed to have hot pot together, but since the ingredients didn't arrive on time, they can no longer enjoy it.
Many customers come to the Tianlin Animal Hospital asking about the "Sui Xin Mei" package. The doctors, including Dr. Chen, are surprised and unaware of such a package. Tian Tian doesn't let them explain and instead instructs them to come over and provide grooming services for their pets. After the pets receive the grooming, they don't turn out as colorful as the customers had imagined—they are just trimmed.
The customers felt that Tian Tian was deceiving them and started causing a commotion. Tian Tian took them to see a dog that had fallen ill due to the dye and showed them pictures of other dogs. These customers realized the extent of the harm caused by the dye and actually found it quite appealing.
These customers were going to participate in a couple's activity that involved bringing their pets along, and there would be a selection for the best couple. Tian Yu Xian suggested that Shen Chen go with Tian Tian to participate in the activity, using the opportunity to communicate their feelings. Tian Tian and the others also mentioned their intention to join the activity to educate the customers about the dangers of the dye.
To attend, they needed to pretend to be a couple. Tian Tian, Shen Mi, and Shen Chen added another person, and Tian Tian's aunt asked her who she wanted to go with. Shen Mi stated that they wouldn't participate in the activity. When they arrived at the event, Tian Tian and the others tried to explain the dangers of the dye to many people, but those people didn't take it to heart at all.
As couples participated in the activity, Shen Mi suddenly appeared and revealed that they were a fake couple. One dog suddenly vomited, and Tian Tian and the others went to deal with it, explaining that it was because the dog had licked the dye and accidentally ingested it, which led to the illness and the need for the owner to take the dog to the veterinary hospital.
Shen Mi revealed that they were from Tianlin Animal Hospital and that their purpose in pretending to be a couple was to inform everyone about the hazards of the "Sui Xin Mei" project. Tian Tian asked why Shen Mi had come, and Shen Mi said they came to apologize to Tian Tian for the misunderstandings and harm they had caused.
Shen Mi confessed to Tian Tian, expressing a desire to be with her forever. They explained that they hadn't spoken up earlier because they had many concerns. They were afraid of not being strong enough and worried that Tian Tian wouldn't like them. But now, compared to losing Tian Tian, none of those concerns mattered anymore.
Shen Mi accompanied Tian Tian back home, and Shen Chen approached them, claiming that Shen Mi had been deceiving Tian Tian. Shen Chen stated that as soon as the Tianlin Animal Hospital achieved its goals, Shen Mi would return to Lvchuan. Shen Chen also revealed that he was Shen Mi's younger brother. After saying this, Shen Chen simply left.
