Episode 34 recap: Grandfather Shen Mi asked Shen Mi to return to Green River.
Grandfather Shen Mi asked Shen Mi when he planned to return to Green River, and Shen Mi said that the agreed-upon one-year period had not yet passed. Grandfather Shen Mi explained that the one-year agreement was only to silence Shen Hong Yuan. The Joy Pet Hospital was established by Shen Hong Yuan, but now Shen Mi had decisively defeated Shen Hong Yuan and could return to Green River.
However, later on, it was discovered that many illegal activities were taking place at the Joy Pet Hospital, so their qualification as a pilot hospital was revoked. The pilot hospital was given to Tianlin Animal Hospital instead. Tian Tian and the others were very happy. Tian Tian asked about Shen Mi and Shen Chen, and Shen Mi said that he and Shen Chen were fine, but it wouldn't be easy for Shen Chen to go back to Shen Hong Yuan.
Shen Chen returned to see Shen Hong Yuan, who was very angry. Shen Hong Yuan expressed his frustration, saying that he had worked so hard to obtain Green River for Shen Chen, but Shen Chen was helping others without considering his own interests. Shen Chen replied that if he wanted something, he would fight for it himself and that he had no interest in Green River. This only made Shen Hong Yuan angrier.
Grandfather Shen Mi called Shen Mi and asked him to bring Tian Tian back. Tian Tian didn't know why they were being summoned by Grandfather Shen Mi, and Shen Mi said they would find out when they arrived. In fact, Grandfather Shen Mi had known for a long time that Tian Tian was just a veterinarian and not Shen Mi's personal doctor. He said that although he was old, he wasn't confused and had realized it when he asked Tian Tian about Shen Mi's condition.

Grandfather Shen Mi handed a document to Shen Mi, explaining that it was about a blind marathon runner whom their company had been sponsoring in Green River. The runner was about to compete, and Grandfather Shen Mi wanted Shen Mi to represent the company and support him.
Shen Mi agreed. Tian Tian and Shen Mi went together to visit Shen Mi's mother, who gave Tian Tian a bouquet of baby's breath flowers, thinking they matched her well. Tian Tian looked it up and discovered that the flower language of baby's breath is "always a supporting role." Tian Tian realized that Shen Mi's mother was mocking her.
When Tian Tian returned home, she found the house filled with baby's breath flowers. Shen Mi said that he liked baby's breath and wanted to decorate the house with them from now on. Tian Tian smiled. Shen Mi and Tian Tian went together to see the blind athlete. Tian Tian mentioned that in the past, it was always Shen Mi who helped her solve various problems, and she didn't expect that there would be a time when she could help Shen Mi.
Shen Mi said that there would be many things they would have to face together in the future. Tian Tian and Shen Mi went to see Mr. Yan and the champion. Normally, in marathon races, there would be pacers, but the champion had good stamina, so he had always been the pacer. However, the champion was now six years old, and this could very well be their last race together.
