Episode 12 recap: Ma Long and the other two set off to find Sun Beishan.
Zeng Xiaogong called Sun Zhengyi. As soon as the call connected, Zeng Xiaogong teased Sun Zhengyi about having someone by his side. True to Zeng Xiaogong's guess, there was indeed someone with Sun Zhengyi. Zeng Xiaogong then got down to business. It turned out that Zeng Xiaogong knew that Ma Long had found the underground cave. Zeng Xiaogong was worried that Ma Long would find Sun Beishan, so he called Sun Zhengyi to inform him. Sun Zhengyi candidly stated that there were still three burrows for the cunning rabbit, and Ma Long wouldn't find his father. As Zeng Xiaogong hung up the phone, he reminded Sun Zhengyi to take care of his health.
When Zeng Xiaogong turned around, he noticed that Badou was eavesdropping behind him. Badou thought Zeng Xiaogong was chatting with his boyfriend and couldn't help but remind Zeng Xiaogong that it's difficult to handle a wealthy boyfriend and that she might suffer mentally. While Ma Long was doing business, Zeng Xiaogong and Badou were waiting on the side. Badou, in a playful mood, imitated the phrase Zeng Xiaogong said to Sun Zhengyi on the phone. Upon hearing it, Zeng Xiaogong accidentally spat out the water he had just swallowed. Zeng Xiaogong hurriedly helped clean up, and Xiaoyu happened to appear, causing a big misunderstanding. Later, when the group was chatting, Xiaoyu kept a close eye on Zeng Xiaogong.
The group speculated that it was highly possible that the original golden dragon in the museum was fake. Ma Long knew that they had to find Sun Beishan to get to the bottom of it. Ma Long and the other two set off to find Sun Beishan. Under Ma Long's leadership, they first found an elderly person who bluntly stated that he didn't know Sun Beishan. He was about to shoo them away, but when Ma Long mentioned his father's name, the person paused for a moment but still refused to reveal Sun Beishan's whereabouts.
