Episode 16 recap: Ma Long and two others successfully obtained the Golden Dragon.
Zeng Xiao Gong and Ma Long discovered the Golden Dragon, but it was locked in a glass cabinet. Badou said he could unlock it but needed time, approximately thirty seconds. When the thirty seconds were up, Badou pressed the confirmation button, but the lock failed to open. Just as everyone was unsure of what happened, suddenly, the person hiding behind them, observing Zeng Xiao Gong and Ma Long's actions with a tablet, said they wanted to "bat" them. Surprisingly, when the confirmation button was pressed again, the lock opened successfully. Badou believed it was his accomplishment, and then Zeng Xiao Gong and Ma Long moved to take the Golden Dragon!
Just as the two were about to leave, security guards suddenly arrived. The two quickly hid, but they were still discovered by the guards. Ma Long instinctively hid the Golden Dragon behind him, but it caught the attention of the security guard. Just as the guard was about to inspect further, Zeng Xiao Gong suddenly appeared, placing his hands on Ma Long's shoulders and adjusting his clothes. The security guard immediately understood the relationship between the two. Zeng Xiao Gong and Ma Long acted in perfect coordination and managed to deceive the guard successfully.
Whip and Baldy returned, and as they entered, the security guard greeted them and mentioned that two colleagues were working upstairs. Hearing this, Whip and Baldy knew that something was wrong. When Whip went upstairs, he coincidentally encountered Ma Long and Zeng Xiao Gong. Zeng Xiao Gong struck Whip with a punch, and he fell to the ground. Upon returning, the group compared the differences between the real and fake Golden Dragons. Ma Long boldly stated that once they collected all twelve Golden Dragons, they could open the Treasure Box of the Kingdom! Zeng Xiao Gong seemed to be contemplating something and then invited the two to go out for a celebratory meal. Zeng Xiao Gong also watched as Badou placed the Golden Dragon into a safe box!
