Episode 24 recap: Shen Huai Bin forces Li Cai Wei to marry him.

Li Cai Wei thought that all the dangers had been eliminated and Shen Huai Jin was safe. On the day of their wedding, Li Cai Wei sat in the bridal chamber with a red veil over her head, eagerly waiting for Shen Huai Jin to unveil it. To her surprise, when the veil was lifted, it was Shen Huai Bin standing there. Li Cai Wei was shocked and asked him what he intended to do. Shen Huai Bin said that Liu Jing Shu had already saved him.

He recalled how Liu Jing Shu had found him. Liu Jing Shu had tried to save Shen Huai Bin and had wanted to become a loving couple with him. However, Shen Huai Bin had no interest in her and had killed Liu Jing Shu when she least expected it. He wanted to marry Li Cai Wei instead. Suddenly, Li Cai Wei remembered Shen Huai Jin. Shen Huai Bin told her that he wanted Shen Huai Jin to witness their marriage and held a knife to Li Cai Wei's neck.

When Li Cai Wei turned her head, she discovered that Shen Huai Jin was tied to a chair. He had just regained consciousness and, upon seeing Shen Huai Bin forcing Li Cai Wei, he struggled to stand up. However, he was tightly bound and unable to move. Shen Huai Bin believed that Shen Huai Jin's engagement to Li Cai Wei was bestowed by the Emperor, and only he, as the Crown Prince, had the right to marry her. Li Cai Wei argued that love cannot be forced, and her marriage to Shen Huai Jin was not because of the Emperor's decree, but because she had fallen in love with him. She tried to persuade Shen Huai Bin to let go of his stubbornness, but he insisted on his own way.
