Episode 27 recap: Chen Jia Ping escaped from the prison.

Chen Jia Ping looked at the situation outside and felt that it was not the right time. The people around him started reminding him again and asked him to hand over the keys. Then he calmly took out a key from a book and prepared to take action. Taking advantage of the start of a dance, the two of them took out seven keys and began to fumble around the area.

After a while, Japanese soldiers started sending people in for patrol. Chen Jia Ping and his companion quickly hid on the side, pretending that nothing had happened. After the guards left, the two of them continued to search for the final opportunity. They successfully escaped from the prison without the Japanese soldiers guarding them noticing anything.

On the other side, Mr. Yamashita, the Japanese officer, received the information and handed over the photos to the newly arrived Japanese commander. He also provided intelligence about the situation with Dayan. The person who looked at the photos suddenly felt a sense of familiarity and remembered that they had captured the man who was currently held in the prison.

Chen Jia Ping and his companion quickly escaped from the prison and continued moving forward. They also noticed the lively scene outside and realized that the route was blocked. However, in this situation, the two of them had no other choice but to stubbornly continue. After a while, Chen Jia Ping dressed himself as a Japanese soldier and with Wang Dapu by his side, they continued walking. When they entered another room, they suddenly discovered another Japanese soldier, and immediately realized that the situation was not good. The soldier quickly ordered his men to restrain them. Before he could react, Chen Jia Ping's companion told them to stay and left alone. Chen Jia Ping struggled to open the door and coincidentally came face to face with a Japanese soldier.

Later on, he changed his clothes and in front of the Japanese soldiers, he acted pitifully, continuing to fabricate lies. However, the person in front of him still didn't believe a word he said.

After seeing the other person's appearance, Chen Jia Ping urgently lowered his head and humbly assured General Uchida that he would definitely find the copper plate successfully. However, to his surprise, after the other person stood up, he immediately and decisively drew his sword without hesitation.

Later, General Uchida approached Zuo Shuang Tao and Luo Guan Qun and bluntly delivered the bad news that he had personally executed Chen Jia Ping. Upon hearing this, Zuo Shuang Tao, for a moment, couldn't accept this reality and finally, with an anxious heart, found Jiang Zhao Guo.

Upon seeing him, she also promptly pulled out her gun without hesitation and directly aimed it at Director Jiang, interrogating him about why he had killed her husband. However, the person sitting in front of her still didn't feel any remorse and believed that Chen Jia Ping, at most, met the fate that a traitor deserved. After leaving, Zuo Shuang Tao overheard someone nearby mentioning the possibility that Chen Jia Ping might still be alive.

It turned out that a day earlier, Chen Jia Ping had staged a ruse to lure someone out. He patiently waited for the other party to fall into the trap. After he managed to escape, the people around him changed their minds and prepared to take action against him. With his agile skills, Chen Jia Ping managed to secretly flee on his own.

Upon hearing the news that he was still alive, Zuo Shuang Tao regained her composure. She pretended to apologize to Director Jiang and, taking advantage of his inattentiveness, secretly stole the copper plate right then and there. Just when she was about to encounter danger, fortunately, Chen Jia Ping arrived in time and rescued her. The two of them later met at the agreed location, where he voluntarily revealed his identity as Mei Hua Si (Plum Blossom Four).
