Episode 4 recap: Chen Jia Ping and Zuo Shuang Tao had a conflict.
Seeing the person in front of them being persecuted, Zuo Shuang Tao couldn't bear to witness the scene and hurriedly ran over to rescue the person. However, unexpectedly, she was pulled and teased by the people around her. Despite her desperate pleas, she was unable to make a difference. At this moment, even Chen Jia Ping, who was usually a close friend of Zuo Shuang Tao, stood on the same side as the Japanese and accused the person in front of them of being a member of the Communist Party.
Under these circumstances, Chen Jia Ping, unable to bear the torment any longer, told the people around him that he was ready to admit his mistake. After successfully being brought down from the tree, he confessed his own wrongdoing. However, he still didn't admit to being the real identity of "Mei Hua Si" (presumably a code name or alias).
